Argh!!! It is 90 degrees in my house
I have no air conditioning at the moment because we use window units and of course I cannot put them in by myself and my partner has not gotten around to doing it yet.
He calls me on the phone on his break from work. I tell him how hot it is. Then I tell him my back hurts. He says, "Well, did you try putting the heating pad on it?"
Right. It's 90 degrees, and he thinks I should be sitting on a heating pad?

I'm sorry Kelly. If I lived near you, I would have my husband put them in for you. He is great doing things for others (I use this quality sometimes for friends, lol) BUT when I need something done, it takes real good scream at him. lol. Finally, after begging and complaining, he is mowing the front yard right now. The weeds and grass were finally over my knees and going to seed. UGH. My monthly came last night and I think I ranted and raved about everything this morning. So he ran out, got the mower going and has found an escape from me. lol. He didn't get our swamp cooler going till the day I got home from my surgery. I had a fan in every room. Do you have any fans? That might help, just to get the air going.
Yeah, I have a fan on me now.

The apartment we live in now in BFE has no central air, it is the first apartment I have ever lived in with no central air or dishwasher (but that's another gripe, lol). There was a window unit in the living room that worked ok when we first moved in but it went out the summer before last. We suffered for 2 months without ac in a hot apartment until finally my mom bought us a new ac unit. It was heaven!
