I'm a registered nurse. I spent 8 1/2 years in the OR and the past 1 1/2 in Informatics (electronic health records and nusing documentation). It was during my time in the OR that I started considering RNY, but it took me around 5 years before I worked with a surgeon that I felt had great skill and little to no complications.
