So let's talk fashion...

My style icons are Faye Dunaway and Lauren Bacall.  I can hardly wait until I can buy a Diane Von Furstenburg wrap dress, and I want to wear monochromatic wide legged trouser and tops.

I'm only 5'5, so I have to be careful not to over do the leg width but I've always loved going super simple.

I also want to wear knee high boots.

I'm 45 years old at this point, so my long term goal is to develop an ageless style that will carry me into my 80's.

I'm frugal, so while I'm looking forward to shopping, I'm dreading the spending.  However, my husband loves to shop and actually won't let me shop alone cause all I buy is black.  I think he's looking more forward to my fashion than I am.   I haven't had 'a style' in years, really looking foward to finding one.

I have pretty classic taste in clothing, but as someone who turns 50 this year, I am also a child of the 70's and would love to wear a maxi dress.  Unfortunately, because I am so short, they all drag on the ground!

I am just happy to be able to actually look good in a tank top!  The past three summers it has been so wonderfully freeing (emotionally) to show off my thin (even if not as shapely as I would like) arms, my nicely muscular shoulders, and my collar bones in tank tops!  It usually also draws attention to my big boobs, but there's not much I can do about that!

I'm excited to eventually have a pair of skinny jeans and wear a bathing suit that doesn't have a boardshort or boardskirt bottom to it :). Oh and excited to be able to buy a pair of boots to go over said skinny jeans and for my calves to fit in said boots lol.

I bought my first maxi dress about 2 months ago in the first goal size I want to get to. Then I bought my 2nd maxi dress in my current size (which I'm thinkin of taking back for a size smaller). Being 5"11 I'm just glad to find maxi dresses long enough to be maxi on me.

I have always bought instyle magazines in order to see all of the latest trends and now I know I will be able to fit things that they have in there now!

I'm so excited!

I LOVE the pin up bathing suits!   You'll have to post what you get!

Right now I'm on the hunt for a pair of ankle length white jeans and I want some kelly green flats to go with them.    And I'm totally obsessed with heels, I love that I can wear them now!   Never did when I was heavier, felt too off balance and clunky.    Ooooh, and tailored button up shirts, when they fit correctly they look great and give you a really tiny waist.
