Poll re: choice of multivitamin
I alternate (daily) between Centrum Chewables and chewable Centrum Silver. I occasionally also take regular Centrum pills if I find them on sale.
A and E.. It was one that my surgeon's office recommended, so I started with it for that reason, switched to BA chewables, but then switched back after I saw (thanks to you, Kelly) that the Centrum met the ASMBS guidelines (and costs SO much less).

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

My poll answer is a mixture of A,B,C. I take Centrum Chewables, but I am soooo over the chewable aspect, so when they are gone, I will get the regular Centrum swallowable pills. My whole bariatric team recommends them. I see the Bariatric Nurse Practioner more than anyone else and they actually give samples of the chewable centrum if you cant afford them.
Choice E - the nuts at my surgeon's office recommended Flintstones, but said that Centrum "was ok too." I read the ASMBS, and went with Centrum.
No brainer - and since I'd like to keep my brain and all other organs functioning, I want something designed for adults that will keep me functioning as an adult.

Centrum Silver - not chewables. Developed an awful gag reflex to all those chewable vitiamins! I have to cut them in half to get them down, but hey...I get an extra 10 or so ounces of water..lol!!
OH actually helped me decide. My NUT & surgeon gave me the guidelines, made some recommendations, but left the final choice up to me.

E (ASMBS guidelines) & H (cost) - I am a couponer so I will get whatever vitamins are closest to free that meet my basic criteria, guided by ASMBS. I've mostly been taking regular Centrums.
Does anyone have any insight/opinion on Centrum vs One A Day? I never hear One A Day vitamins being recommended, and I think I remember comparing them in the store and the Centrums were superior, but I can't remember specifics.

I haven't compared the labels. You could look them up online or just compare them next time you're at the store. I'm too lazy to look them up right now.

i think when i looked it was kind of like where one was under the other met and vice versa so pretty comprable. i usually use one-a-day because they are usually cheaper. right now i have a different one (don't even remember the name!) that my mom picked up at bj's that's a 6 month supply for like $15 that had good stats
