This is correct, also (and I don't recall which) some test require them to be refrigerated prior to testing.  I'm sure Andrea probably mentions this in her book.

I had never heard of that until it happened to me!  When I went for my pre-op I go into the little room with the nurse who's going to take my blood for vitamins/minerals and she said just so you know I need to draw these in the dark, then they went right into these dark thick bags before she turned the light back on.  I was thinking that was so weird but she told me that some need to be done in the dark to get true results.
