What are you eating/doing today? Sunday!
I will be having chili yet again today for dinner. I made a crock pot full, portioned off meals and froze them.
Also had a ham-n-bean curry that I made last night in the crock pot (12 servings of 1 cup each) for lunch. Turned out pretty yum if I say so myself. I used a 1.5 lb sliced ham, 2 cans of beans (kidney and pinto, what I had on the shelf), onion powder, garlic, and curry to taste.
Worked out to:
13.5g protein, 1g sugar, 1.5 g fat, 12g carb 3.3g fiber, and 109 calories
When I added fully cooked rice it comes out to:
16.5g protein, 1g sugar, 1.5g fat, 37.7g carb, 3.3g fiber, and 222 calories.
Most likely a shake in there somewhere and 1-2 small snacks.

Birthday party for two of our kids so family meal for 12. Turkey big like 18-20 lbs in the smoker, mashed for those without WLS, greens and beans, cucumbers in vinegar ice water and of course two cakes. I baked my sweety decorated.

Hopped outta bed at o'dark thirty and went to gym for a very invigorating yoga class. Then stopped at Target and did a little browsing while I drank a skinny latte (and spent too much money, naturally).
Now I'm just waiting until I can drink after lunch, then I'm cleaning, sorting, and doing household tasks the remainder of the day...fun, fun stuff. But it's raining outside and that is wonderful. All my plants are loving mother nature today.

L: Homemade pizza/coleslaw/strawberries/cheese crackers with cheese (more protein needed)
S: Ham/string cheese roll-ups
D: Mixed veggies shepard's pie/salad/veggies

Today I'm a lump after Prom last night.

3. Full Fat Fage with fresh blackberries (zero fat fage ALWAYS hits my RH buttons, even the 2% is iffy)
4. Probably two or three other protein shakes
5. My favorite new food: artichoke hearts, cheese, olives, and baby corn.
and probably some bedtime snack.

March 9, 2011 - Coccygectomy!
I chased my dreams, and my dreams, they caught me!
Had awful back pain last night so skipped breakfast this morning since the pain meds make me nauseated.
Lunch is browned ground turkey with sauteed (with non-stick spray and chicken broth) mushrooms, onions and garlic. This is the first time I have eaten this since surgery so we will see how it goes.
Snack will be 1oz of cracked black pepper extra sharp white cheddar and 1/3 cup Greek yogurt.
Dinner will be slow cooked turkey breast.
So excited to be eating almost normal again. In about 4 weeks, I will get my fresh fruits and veggies back! Oh how I miss spinach, peppers, onions, cucumbers, and apples!

Breakfast today was a half a whole grain bagel and cream cheese.
I had a protein bar while sitting in class.
Lunch was lentil salad.
Dinner was turkey meatballs with creamy pesto israeli couscous and mixed veggies--black beans, edamame, green beans, carrots.
I'm going to make a Syntrax shake tonight and see if I can tolerate it better than the others I've tried.
I spent the morning at Sunday school with my son, and I took a "Where Was God?" Shoah Theology class, which was fascinating. Then I hit Trader Joe's and went to the Y to teach class. Came home and took a nap on the couch. There's nothing quite as "Sunday afternoon" as a lazy couch-nap.
