Oh I love me some P28!! Saves me from white bread, too!  My mom says it stinks lol

Thanks... it drives my dietitian crazy that I don't have much variety, but with my ability to eat larger portions I have to do something to keep me full for fewer calories.   I have to get back on the broccoli wagon, so I am eyeballing your chicken / cheesy broccoli recipe.

Oh that thing was good! And easy to throw together.

I love love love it!! Syntrax Matrix 2.0.  I ordered it from Netrition (go through the link on Nik's blog so she gets credit for it).   I don't "need" a shake to get my protein, but now I have one every morning.

Breakfast- Nik's lemon Merinque protein shake but I also added some strawberries and 1/4 c greek yogurt....delish!

Lunch- 2 slices Turkey Salami, 1  piece sliced light swiss, 1/4 of an apple

Dinner- I think I will make Nik's taco bake.  I've been wanting to try it for a while.

Won't have time to make it to the gym tonight so probably a 3 mile run with my dog.  I also am trying to fit a hair appointment in.  I had been scared to get my hair cut and foiled because my hair has been falling out in large quantitites.  Lately it seems to have slowed down a bit and I'm seeing lots of regrowth.  And seriously- after 6 months, my blonde is looking very drabby lately!  I am hoping that since I am a week shy of 6 months out that the hair loss will be close to being done too

Ha- thanks for the warning about the taco bake.  Good thing my hubby is working tonight!

Actually the warning was to LJ about the cauliflower/broccoli bake but in theory it could be about that one too altho I don't get gas when I eat taco casserole. Let me know how it turns out for you!

Had doctors appt this a.m. and piano lesson this afternoon and then to the gym. Busy day all told for me. The pouch is a bit unhappy, and I'm not sure why. I think she's not liking the hamburger in the mixed vegetable shepard's pie I made. She's pretty finicky about ground beef. If I make a recipe with ground beef in some form of tomato sauce, she's okay (like yummy taco casserole or lasagna cupcakes), but if I don't include a tomato based sauce (shepard's pie, meatloaf), she doesn't appear to tolerate that as well. Oh well, discovered a link and will have to work on expanding my repetoir of tomato based ground beef casserole recipes (that are low-salt).

B: chocolate whey protein shake
L: mixed veggie shepar'd pie, cucumbers, 1/2 banana
S: greek yogurt/NSA peaches
D: gluten free homemade pizza and a nice spinach salad
S: strawberry cheesecake protein ice cream
