What are you eating/doing today? Thursday!
I feel better today. I really do think I am sensitive to lack of sunlight in general and this whole grieving process has amplified that. But at any rate, today I am much better.
After work today I am going to put my nose to the grindstone and get some serious packing and organizing done. I am taking a lot more than I originally thought I would. I have a lot of measuring and planning to do as well. At some point tonight i hope to hit the gym. Can't wait until I live just a four block walk from the gym!!!!
Eats today as I know them:
1. Click Frappe
2. Spicy kale, mustard greens and sausage (this stuff is good but FILLING)
3. A Pure protein bar (forgot to pack my quest bar...boo...)
4. I am SUPPOSED to be going to Denny's with my BFF tonight and the girls. If I do I will get my usual, an omelet.
5. Cottage cheese w/ Fiber One and strawberries

Sound like you've got a lot on your plate! (No pun intended!) I'm still only a week and a half post op so I can't get too creative with my meal plan for the day (I'll start with a delicious protein shake and then later...another protein shake! Lol) But I can control how I spend my days so I have planned a trip to a local state park where there are walking trails and the remains of a 'castle' that you can tour through. The sun is out and everything is blooming and I can't think of a better way to excercise than to not even realize that I am excercising. Have a beautiful day!
Hey-O!! It's my Friday! Haven't managed to sleep through the night since last Thursday so I am dragging ass. Good news is the cat's echocardiogram looked good. Her little heart is very strong. But they still want to check her BP and her thyroid. How do they check a cat's BP? Do they have little tiny cuffs?

L-Black bean soup...darn it...just realized I forgot my cheese stick to melt in it. sigh
S-apple w/tbsp PB or a greek yogurt-Stoneyfield Oikos superfruit
D-half a boneless pork chop...actually soup for lunch, so I can probably eat most of a whole boneless chop. spinach and some other veggie
Hmm..really bummed about the cheesestick. This might lead to a trip to Chik Fil A for a grilled chicken sandwich (half bun) and a fruit cup. Decisions, decisions.

Chick-fil-a has grilled chicken nuggets on their kids' menu. I give my fries and drink to my family. (The diet lemonade is too acidic for me now.)

I had some serious gas pain and distention last night from some sugar alcohols - damn sf marshmallow! This morning I am STILL feeling the effects. Most of the distention is resolved, but there's that leftover pain feeling. LIke a sore or bruised bowel feeling. And there's still some gas as well. It's so hard to explain. I feel MUCH better hunched over than I do standing or sitting straight. I plan to have plenty of water and peppermint tea today.
I've already had a bottle of water.
Breakfast was greek yogurt with strawberries, splenda, ground flax and Special K protein plus.
Here in a little bit I'll try drinking my coffee - decaf with splenda and ff nd creamer.
For lunch I have a small hamburger patty, tomato slices and an orange. If I don't feel up to eating that then I have some mint cookie protein to drink.
I have 5 hours of different phone calls and meetings today. I would have stayed home in bed if it were not for that.
I also have tickets for La Cage tonight at the Dallas Summer Musicals.
I've already had a bottle of water.

I'm hanging with my 97yo grandmother while my mom tours nursing homes. (It's time.) Grandma will probably sleep most of the day, so I brought my laptop and schoolwork with me. While I was reaching behind the recliner to plug in my laptop I managed to knock my bowl of yogurt off the end table, and got it all over myself, the floor, the recliner, my laptop case... and fortunately NOT my laptop.
So for breakfast I ate whatever yogurt remained in the bowl after the catastrophe. Not sure how to record it. Maybe half of it survived? I dunno.
My mom still has ham left from Easter dinner in the freezer, so I'll have that for lunch.
And maybe dinner. I like ham.
ETA: Forgot it's Thursday! Date night! Maybe Chik-Fil-A? We've lost our usual place for cheap dates, Noodles Inc. Can't think of anything I can eat there. I miss their Pad Thai.

Been dealing with an unexpected bout of diarrhea for last three days. So I'm down another three pounds since monday, but feel like yuck. So food wise tried oatmeal with some splenda peaches for breakfast..looking for some filler?

Busy day today, but I slept pretty well so hopefully it won't be too bad. Had the farrier come out and trim the horses hooves early this morning. They are good so that isn't too bad. Fed the chickens and rabbits now working on 32oz of water. Spin class at 1215, staff meeting at 2, meeting with "big dogs" at 3, then training from 1115pm - 1215am. Somewhere in there I need to actually do some coaching with my team... couple of major issues to address.
