RNY Gastric Bypass 1-8-08 350/327/200 (HW/SW/CW). I spend most of my time playing with my food over at Bariatric Foodie - check me out!
I have completed 2 of 3 meetings at work for the day. I have one more tonight at 1115-1215. Before work I went to the "Beginner" spin class - I assure you, the only thing beginner about it is they show you how to set up the bike!! WOW I was whooped.
B - Mint Cookie protein
L - P28, PAM fried egg, ham, cheese
S - Quest
- 2 laughing cow light
D - tilapia, cheese, grape tomatoes, fresh english peas if there are any left, otherwise I'll find something green.... may be mold lol
If another snack is needed, I will keep it to a couple of sweet peppers or strawberries.

I cooked three meals last night, so tonight I have my choice of chili, black bean soup with ham chunks, or hamburger helper. For extra protein I'll top the chili and the black bean soup with greek yogurt and sharp cheddar before serving, so whichever one I choose will be a great protein source.
For breakfast I had greek yogurt with my berry mixture, snack was a pure protein bar, lunch was a buckwheat/greek yogurt/blueberry pancake and an egg. Afternoon snack was 5 giant spanish olives (I'm supposed to be increasing my sodium intake, per doctors orders, believe it or not) and a light baby bel cheese.

Second lunch and Dinner were both picked up on the run. My son goes to public school, but I homeschool him for two hours afterward, and we needed new math and spelling books. And my dog went to the dog park. And it was just overall a busy day.
For Second Lunch, I had half of a grilled chicken ranch wrap from DQ.
Dinner is the guts of a spicy chicken gyro with tzatziki. Mmm. I'm also kind of bummed because the greek place I went to for dinner has this homemade baklava that they make fresh daily. And I sorely wanted a piece, but knew that, being drenched in honey, it would make me sick. So I checked out, paid, and then l;eaned over the baklava case and asked, "Wow, are those pistachios in there?" And the lady smiled and said, "Yes, our baklava is made with cinnamon and walnuts and pistachios, and just a little sugar."
Me: "And honey, right?"
Her: "No, we don't use honey. We find it makes it too sugary."
Damn it. I totally could have had a piece. Oh well. It's always there if I want a treat another time. Empty calories anyway, right?

not exactly a good eating day. i have no appetite at all today, plus i forgot to pull some meat out of the fridge before i left for school earlier, so had very limited choices on dinner. had super bad back pain today so skipped the gym, but walked about 1/2 way across the city instead of switching trains since it was a nice day (east to west, not north to south... that would be a long walk lol)
