Eggs did the same thing to me, last Friday. I'd had an egg for breakfast, pureed chicken for lunch, and by dinner, I was having issues with things not feeling right, so I had pureed chicken soup. By 7pm, I was miserable, and by 9pm, up came the soup. I still felt horrible, and by 3am, up came the chicken. It wasn't until 7am the next morning (22hrs after I'd eaten it), that the egg came up, and things finally settled down. It's going to be a LONG time, before I try eggs again!

You poor thing! I only eat soft poached eggs right now. Even when I had the band I had a wicked hard time with scrambled or fried eggs (7 yrs out too not just the first few years). Eggs are not always the friendliest food, go for very soft boiled (so yolks are still runny), or soft poached for now. Karianne

I agree with Nik in thinking it was the salmon, not the egg. I've only gotten sick a couple of times since surgery, but when I did, only one part of my meal came back up. It would make more sense that the salmon didn't agree with your pouch. It's all a learning process though. Hope you're feeling better soon!

Maybe re-introduce only one thing at at time back into your diet...start with egg whites. If it stays down, no nausea, then try a whole egg...then try the salmon alone...if it stays down, maybe combine it with egg whites only to see what happens...if all is going well, maybe try the salmon with a whole egg later post-op...maybe it's just too early for your pouch to handle...
....or not.

OK that doesn't sound like a good time at all. I agree though how about trying to introduce stuff back into your diet one by one? I hope you get some relief soon!
