 I had chicken salad on whole wheat toast.  I think next time I will serve it on a bed of lettuce....I am coming to terms that me and bread can only be friends every now and then.  Which is a good thing because pre-op I was a carb fanatic!

I had 3 tbs greek yogurt with 1 tbs sf orange marmalade for breakfast and 3 tbs ricotta cheese bake for lunch and dinner. In between I sipped on lots of water and had mint cookie protein shakes to get my 60g of protien in for today. My pouch is happy and so am I.

Is that organic Chai tea ........sugar free.  If so, what brand?  I love Chai tea but have not had any for years..............I use to have chai tea all the time when I had my coffee house.

1. 1/2 of a protein drink
2 3/4 cup of cottage cheese plus 1/8 cup of blueberries
3. 6 oz of yogart, 1/8 cup of granola and walnuts
4. tuna or chicken or turkey or pork.......undecided plus green beens and califlower.

TOday has been a trying day.  I have the cramps from hell and nothing seems to be helping.  I've tried heating pads, midol, tylenol, exercise.  Nothing.  I'm giving up and pulling out the big dogs...nircotics and sleep.

Eats for today were

B: protein smoothie
L: Talapia, steamed veggies, creamed spinach
S: carrots and hummus, a few apple slices and peanut butter
D: low carb grilled cheese sandwhich

Later I might have some greek yogurt if this vicodine doesn't knock me out.

Mmmm, I wanted sushi so bad today. But I couldn't find any with avocado and brown rice, and that's what I was craving.

Lunch was half a cup of full-fat Fage with SF vanilla syrup, fresh strawberries, and grape nuts. SO delicious. Yum.

I went to the park and had a picnic with a girlfriend and her kids. I brought hardboiled eggs, lentil salad, fresh strawberries, grapes, and bananas, and sandwiches for the kids. Had a small cup of lentil salad, an egg, and some fruit.

Dinner was going to be couscous and meatballs, but I don't think my son is hungry, and I don't want to cook all that just for me. So I'll probably have more lentil salad and another egg. And maybe a cup of SF hot chocolate and a protein bar for dessert.

I'm making your Mexican Casserole this evening.  It's almost time to dig in and it sure smelled good baking.  All week I am trying your recipes.  Wish you'd do a cookbook!   Also, mixed salad with sliced strawberries and raspberry vinegarette dressing for the others.  I'll do well eating my serving of the main dish.  I had a luncheon with ladies at lunch so had a small amount of meatloaf, bite of mashed potatoes and 3 green beans.  I had to get out and buy groceries for the week so I am exhausted.  Bible study in the morning will pump me up.

 b- 1/2 bagel thin with light butter
went for an open interview then straight to the library and gym so lunch didn't happen today :-/
d1 - cheddar bacon soup
d2 - mini meatballs with ricotta and shredded mozzarella
also had a really big glass of milk before breakfast (needed to get rid of it before it turned, plus i knew i was running to the grocery store and needed to make room in the fridge).

didn't plug in my stats yet but i'm probably a bit short on protein (and cals) so maybe a tbs of pb before bed

exercise - walked about 3 miles, then 1/2 hr on the arc trainer at the gym
