Random Poll o' the Week: When I get to goal I'm gonna...???

Not to sound odd, but I have no goals for goal, lol.

I want to go on roller coasters again. I can fit now 1/2 way to goal so I'm vacationing next week at an amusement park.

I want to run a marathon. I signed up *last month* for the marine corps historic half in May.

I want to ride a bike and be active again in the outdoors.  I'm going for a ride this afternoon.

I want to live now, so I'm going to do it. With any luck, hitting a numerical weight goal will be barely noticed, because I'll already be living the life I wanted by the time I get there.

This isn't necessarily when I get to goal, but more of when I get under 200. It's a list of things I want to check off of my list...

Whitewater rafting
Horseback riding
Yoga teacher training (I don't necessarily want to teach, but for my own growth)

As for the big goal celebration, maybe taking a trip to Italy to visit my husband's family or going to Hawai'i...

When I get to goal.... um... I don't really know.
To tell you the truth, I have always been in SUCH denial about my weight, then it's never really stopped me from doing a whole lot. I always thought I looked great, and since I don't have health issues, it's never been much of a hindrance.

Most of the things I really want to, I'm doing on my way to goal.
I'm running again, which feels fabulous. I have the Zombie 5K I've registered for in August. I'm teaching a fitness class, which rocks.

One of my bigger motivations was looking good in a swimsuit in public. I LOVE water parks. But I never felt entirely comfortable waiting in long lines wearing nothing but a spandex sausage casing. So that'll be something I'll really enjoy when I reach goal--being able to lounge around at a pool without glancing down and remembering that I have belly rolls and thunder thighs.

My motivations are admittedly fairly shallow. I love clothes and shoes. And I particularly like high heels and fitted vintage dresses and pencil skirts. But my figure didn't really allow those styles, so when I get where I want to be, I do intend to totally revamp my wardrobe.

I have stuff I am planning on doing when I feel more comfortable in my body - like swimming, sky diving, running and learning to dance.

dancing is a BIG one. It's a large part of my faith, but i don't ever feel comfy enough to let myself go to do it. So in some ways i am letting my body hold myself back from my faith and spirituality. That's not ok with me, which is one reason i started this journey. I want to take dance lessons

Going to Hawaii with my husband for our 20th Anniversary, shopping EVERYWHERE, flying without the seatbelt worry, amusement park rides, not worrying about chairs. Major confidence boost!  I'll think of more as I go!

I believe in me...the best is yet to be!

I originally told myself and my husband that we would take dance lessons together.  I made goal a couple weeks ago, but have decided to reset my goal to another 29 lbs.  At that time we will take the dance lessons.  I am also going to meet with my surgeon to discuss plastic surgery on my arms and a boob lift, that was a goal that I wasn't sure that I wanted to have, but am excited about it actually!

I did buy 2 pairs of jeans that look pretty good and didn't look at the price tag, just paid the cashier and went on about my day!  So, I guess, that turned out to be what I did when I met my goal.  Bought jeans off the rack, without wondering if I should buy them or how long they would fit or if they would fit.  It was and still is a great feeling!

I am way too old for this, (58) but my son has been doing tatoos for a year or so and does a fantastic job.  I told him if I got to 135 which still seems impossible, I would let him give me a tatoo.  Very outrageous for me.  I just want a little red heart with an 'L' in the middle.  That can stand for me Lucinda, or my grandchildren Libby & Logan.  i just has my first weight gain, 3#.  Was on vacation and am having a panni on Monday so exercise was pretty iffy as was eating and probably will be for  the next month.

I don't have a goal and thank God my surgeon doesn't set one for us either.  But I can say once I am about a year or so out I would love to get implants.  Even at my highest weight the girls have been no larger than a C cup.  I'm 5'11 with a large build, I WANT D's!!!!!

You can have mine! Even after WLS I am a DD. Which, to be fair, is a vast improvement over being an H cup before.
