3 yrs post op- gaining weight-pouch tightened
Your body learned how to absorb more. You need to eat less or exercise more. Most likely both.
I have to reduce drastically my carbs intake.

actually it was a typo...
.10 lbs is what it should have read.

I often wondered where the real me has been? I then decided where the real me is going!!!
You do realize, don't you, that a small "bounce back" is normal?
It could be your body wants that 10 lbs. back on you. There are good reasons to have a little extra body fat. Studies show in cases of catastrophic disease (cancer, etc.) people with a little extra body fat tend to...um...survive. That's just one example. But in all seriousness, while it is always a good idea to eat mindfully it could be your body wanting to put back on a little extra to get to where it wants to be.
I had a bounce and have maintained my post-bounce weight for two years now.

Like Nik, I had a bounce back within just a couple of weeks of hitting my lowest weight, but have maintained that weight ever since, so it might be bijnce back. If you are not exercising, though, you may just need to either put some exercise back in or drop your calories to account for the lack of exercise. It is unlikely that your pouch even NEEDS tightened. My surgeon's experience is that LESS than 20% of people who come in with regain and swear that their pouch/stoma are stretched actually have anything stretched. They are simply taking in more calories than they are burning.
I am almost 5 years out, and am very limited as far as exercise because of a knee that needs replaced, so when my weight starts to creep up and I hit my 5-lb self-imposed boundary, I increase the protein just a bit, eliminate all non-veggie or non-dairy carbs, and try to increase my water. That gets the extra few pounds off.

14 years out; 190 pounds lost, 165 pound loss maintained
You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
