Tomorrow Morning

I was sitting here thinking about the struggles I have had over the years with weight, and now the time has come that my life will change forever....I have thought about having this sugery for 7 years and I am now at the point where I know I am ready to commit to the new life.

 I understand that feeling all too well.  I am at a similar point and want to lend an encouraging word.  I'm excited for you and hoping that my insurance approval comes through so I can have the opportunity to mentally "prepare" as you are!  :)

Wishing you the best tomorrow.   I am one week out from surgery.  I just want to share with you that we all have different experiences of surgery.  I have had a wonderful first week.  I have taken absolutely "No" pain meds.  I would have if I would have needed them - but I didn't . I was sent home with pain meds and again no need for them!  I am able to get in all my liquids.  Proteins are going ok but I have a ways to go to get it to 60 grams.  I walk everyday.  I started out at only 5 minutes the first day home from the hospital and I am almost to 20 minutes!  You can do this.  My only suggestion to you is - be positive, follow all orders of your surgeron, and get ready for a wonderful new life!  Hope to hear from you soon !  FoxyMomMa

Thank you so much for the kind words, and   i will keep all posted. I have done so much just to get ready for this that following the rules will be the only thing i do, good luck to you also
