What are you eating/doing today? Monday

I don't go back to wor****il Thursday. In approximately 20 minutes I'm going to start turbo calling properties I searched yesterday trying to set up showings for this week. My realtor emailed and, surprise!, wants to close on April 30. I kind of reamed him out over email. I already am not great with big, sweeping changes in my life and I told him you simply cannot keep moving dates around. He originally told me the closing would be 45 days after the sale and that's what I expect him to adhere to. Hmph! Dude is trying to stress me out.

In other news, I found a place for rent that's near my best friend. I hope, hope, hope this is a nice house! There were no photos with the listing but I did look it up on Google maps and the exterior of the house is very nice so I am hopeful. That's the first place I am going to call. Aside from that I think I am going to go to Body Pump today (hope I don't regret that one) and of course I am going to pack!

I am also going to try to do better with my eating. Too much grazing lately!

1. Double shot protein shake (2 scoops of protein instead of one)
2. Probably another shake after Body Pump for recovery
3. An cheese eggchilada with Greek yogurt and salsa
4. My WLS-friendly sausaage and peppers (I've had a taste for them for about a week now)
5. A caramel pudding cup with whippage

Hang in there -- of everything you've been through in your life, this will be a breeze!!!! and just think of how much better everything will be once you get moved -- hang in there, kitten!

Dare I say that I did Body Pump early Saturday morning and I have been so sore in my bottom half -- more so than after I did a full marathon!!!!!!!!!! Hubby said he doesn't understand that since I run so much but it just goes to show that everybody has something to work on.

Operation 10 Pounds is underway --

- click and skim
- Greek yogurt and strawberries
- protein bar
- tenderloin from crockpot and steamed broccoli

meow

Be happy.

My local Y only had Body Pump super early in the a.m. and in the middle of the day. (Boo) I am campaiging for at least one evening class. Oh yeah, and they have it on Sunday when many people are in church. Sigh.

I LOVE the workout but I haven't been in forever so I know I will be sore tomorrow all over. But hey I'm already sore in my upper body from a self-inflicted kettle bell regimen the other day.

What's operation 10 lbs.? I need to be on operation 25 lbs. I have decided I'd like to get back into an 8/10. I am in a 12 so this is not some big, unachievable goal. I'm working on it.

Yeah, our BP classes are kinda unattendable unless you don't have to go to work so I was excited to see an 815 am on Saturday! Whoo hoo! There are a few kettlebells floating around at the gym but I would like to see more -- and in a class format maybe. I'm not a huge fan of group exercise but I'm willing to try anything.

Operation 10 Pounds is my quest to get ten pounds off. I know I have put on muscle and people guess me to be 115 but I'm 145-149 right now -- part of it is muscle I know but I gotta come clean with myself. The marathon is over, training is over ****il August for an October race) so no "intense workout" excuses now.

I know what to do, there's no magic, and at almost 4 years out, nothing's off limits (except Chinese food) and quantity isn't too restricted either. So, it's the choices : )

Be happy.

It so is! In my quest for a house I am also looking for proximity to a gym. I'd love to move in the neighborhood of my local Y (or at least closer). It's just such a vibrant area and culturally diverse. There is a huge lake that you can walk around that has kid friendly outdoor exercise equipment. I just love it there. I think once I can be closer, I will go even more (now I actually do manage 3-4 times a week).

Morning all.

No food yet this morning, I got up and got ready and neatened up the apartment for my cleaning lady to come. While she is here, I will go out and grab some breakfast (Panera probably) and then I would like to see the 10am showing of The Hunger Games. So right now, working on drinking.

1. Quiche at Panera
2. Quest bar
3. Buffalo Chicken Breast Sammich
4. Prob fish and veggies for dinner

Ok so I treated myself to a half a pound of sugar free chocolate a Wockenfuss this weekend.  It's my 20th anniversary tomorrow, my birthday is Saturday and it was Easter.  Unfortunately, the half pound was gone by Sunday AM.  But it was delicious.  Big ^5 for the coconut cluster things.  The toffee is still a little chewy but they have gotten a good taste happening with it.

So today:

Had my free birthday drink from the 'Bux.  Venti triple shot skinny cinnamon dolce.

B-Protein pancakes. Nik I used the Atkins mix and changed the recipe I was using to yours.  Don't know exactly why but it made a real difference.

L-Other half of last night's grilled chicken breast and a RF colby cheese stick

S-Oikos yogurt or I have a Pure Protein bar

Have a great week everyone!

Glad the recipe worked out for you! Protein enhanced pancakes are kind of dense, so I try to warn folks not to expect fluffy but the flavor is good.

Nik, I just wanted to say that I admire you so much and that I am praying for you during what must be a terribly trying time!
I'm on operation 44 lbs! LOL. I never expected to get 'skinny' from this operation, given what I had to lose, but I am not going to settle either. I am 8 months out so I am hoping I still have a few months of decent losing yet, though I have been in a virtual stall since Jan.

SO yeah on to eats...
