"Bigger than my smallest, still smaller than my biggest"

It certainly puts things in perspective! I only seem to get insecure about my body when I take pictures. Anyone here who has met me in real life knows I'm kind of a pain to take a photo of. I know my angles and I try to work them! Mostly because I know pictures screw with my head something terrible. I love what I see when I look in the mirror, but pictures? It's dicey.

But you are right, it is photographic evidence that I am not the person I was pre-op and yes that is VERY comforting!

 I think you look amazing!!

As for the regain, I was told by my doctor that I would lose, drop well below where my body was comfortable, and then gain back to where my body is comfortable. He said 15 pounds is common, and not to stress about it. Of course, I am no where's NEAR goal yet, but am hopeful he is right!!

I think you look amazing.  I always have.  You've been an inspiration for me for these last several years as I've been on this journey.  I always identified with you because your high weight was near mine and when I saw my your transformation I began to think a better life was possible for me too.  I remember in the third week after I had my surgery when I shifted to purees, I had a bad reaction to some tuna, had to be rehospitalized and got scared.  I was literally scared to try anything other than yogurt and protein shakes again.  I messaged you and you gave me so much great advice.  And it was you who gave me hope that I would one day have a "new normal."   I have never forgotten it and you got me through such a difficult time.  That speaks to your beauty both inside and out.  You are a success and the healthier eating habits and your love of exercise prove it.  You set out to change your life and it looks o me like you truly have.

Nik, you are truly beautiful inside and out and such an inspiration to all of us here with your honesty and your willingness to share the ups & downs. I still have one of your "rants" addressed to newbies that you posted back in early 2010 when I was a newbie. I have loved you and your posts from the first time I read one. Thank you for all that you give of yourself.

And if all my regain could be in my boobs- my husband would be SOOO happy, LOL!! You are gorgeous lady!
