Just finished my second protein shake of the day.

Am trying to decide if I want some almond milk with lite chocolate syrup, or a snack bar. Bit too early to have a full sized meal.

I am NOT used to having hunger though, and my new meds that I'm hoping to discontinue after today have inspired hunger, so I want to just munch munch munch all day. But I'll likely stick to the almond milk.

a little late joining in for this to be real time... but so far

B - PURE protein bar
L - ham, turkey, green beans, steamed squash, deviled egg (half), 1/2 roll. (wasn't much of each thing, just a LOT of individual "things")
S - Blue Bunny Sweet Freedom Krunch Lite ice cream

edited - I forgot I tried some mac n' cheese for the first time post op. My sister's "Famous" baked mac n Cheese. I thought I was going to gag. My first taste change out of all the foods I have tried - I now hate Mac n Cheese!!

Since that post I had 6 oz. Greek yogurt (0% unflavored) with 1 tbsp nuked lowfat cream cheese, lemon juice and Splenda (essentially cheesecake without the egg) with some sf apricot preserves and about a 1/4 c. crushed cereal on top.

Took a nap (again, I have been napping entirely too much). Woke up with the munchies so I ate some salad with Light Balsamic Vinaigrette. This year I am discovering the wonder of arugula. I love the stuff. Can't get enough. I even like it by itself.

At some point I need to figure out where we are having dinner as we have NO food in the house. From here until the move I'm only stocking a few days at a time.

I know I'm real late with this but I had been wondering where posts like this have gone.

For breakfast I had arotein drink made with 2 scoops mocha click and a half a scoop jay Robb protein powder and 12 oz almond milk.

Then around 3 I had 4 rice cakes with cheese. I don't know what that was about. That definately wasn't my "planned" lunch.

Dinner will probably be a chicken burger with a few sweet potato fries and then another protein drink before bed.

Had 2-3oz of chicken for dinner, with a deviled egg (half an egg), 1/2 of a very small plain sweet potato, and a few bites of green beans.

I went back later and had two more deviled eggs (halved).
I'm pretty full now. But I'll have some more chicken later with raspberry sauce. And maybe a few spoons of stuffing if I'm feeling naughty.

It truly is amazing to me how dinners with family and friends really aren't about the food anymore.
I could care less what I put on my plate most of the time. I feel a very distinct, obvious sever from the need to binge at holiday and social events. It's refreshing and empowering to be able to put just a little of everything on my plate, eat it, and be satisfied without the urge to go back and have more. Or, when I indulge in a dessert, to have a SMALL sliver of it and be happy with my two or three bites.
The only time I've exceeded my limits was at Passover, having a small sliver of two different desserts. That was too much, and I paid for it. But even then, it wasn't an out of control thing, it was just more sugar than my pouch could handle.

It's nice to feel this way.
