only drawback on the gumbo is it has rice and without the rice it really is sorta just soup. But I bet the soup would be really good.

Methinks that after I move this should be top order for Bariatric Foodie.

 it's been eh....
b - waffle w/sf syrup. i was craving one and it was so yummy.
l - cheese and bacon quesadilla on a carb control tortilla
d - i attempted to make beef and broccoli. i'm picking at it. it's just not the same. i may forgo the rest of the broccoli since that seems to be what doesn't taste so good and just eat the steak....
i also made some cookies for easter and ate a couple of those

I got up super early this morning and took my youngest nephew fishing for his 14th birthday. We met a friend and her hubby and went to a stocked pond. Usually we throw down with some catfish - catch large numbers of average sized fish. Today my nephew caught 8 (5-7lbs) and I caught 2 (6lbs). My friends caught 5 about the same size. It was awesome fun. Then the folks who own the place cleaned / fileted the fish for us. We went to my nephew's favorite Mexican restaurant for lunch and his 16yr old brother met us there. Great day! I am exhausted after the day of fishing, then loading / unloading 260 lbs of animal feed and tending all of the animals.

B - PURE Protein bar
L - 1 1/2 small ground beef enchilada, about 1/4c refried beans with cheese and a couple of chips with queso and salsa.

Not sure about dinner... I am still stuffed from my huge lunch.
Maybe I will just do greek yogurt tonight.

Happy today is the last work day...it's been a loooooooong week

B-egg casserole/turkey sausage
L-taco casserole/green beans
S-cheese sticks/deli ham
D-chicken/couscous/Lima beans
S-quest brownie/hot chocolate

Took an walk at lunch, beautiful day out, afterwork I did a quick gun visit and did some upper body strength training...glad to be relaxing with some cocoa and dvr'd tv shows

ok I ended up with cottage cheese, p butter, fiber one. That brings me to a whopping 54g of protein. Looks like a protein shake kind of night.
