OT - We celebrated her home today
Nik I am so sorry for your loss. I dont think I have ever communicated with you but I read your posts all the time and feel like I know and really like you. I have thought of you and your family ever day since I heard of your mothers exit to heaven. I pray for you, that the love of our Father be wrapped around you and your girls.
Your mother has not died, she is an eternal being. Our Spirit is the true us and lives forever. The essence of your mother can not be removed from existence. God created us to be eternal so that we could be with him forever. Your mother lives on!! She lives in perfection now. In perfect love and peace. One day you and your girls will stand beside her and know this same perfection. I know you miss and will miss the physical part of her. The part you can touch and smell. The part that is so familiar, and comforting. Close your eyes Nik, she is still here. She lives on forever. Talk to her, she is with you. Talk to God, He is with you. He will never leave you or forsake you.
Know Nik that you are not alone. God loves you, Your momma loves you even still, and we love you here on OH. You are an inspiration to so many. Thank you for your life and the giving of yourself.

Not Off Topic to me, Nik. She is part and parcel of who you became and who you are now. You are a big part of what makes this forum what it is.
Homecoming is the right word. Right now she is busy visiting with her parents, any siblings she hasn't seen in a long time, her own beloved grandparents and ancestors she never met. At the right time she will ask her Savior to send you a sign that all is well to gelp fill the hole in your hear****ch for it.
