let's play the protein shake game
Jay Robb has a dreamscicle flavor.
I make it with Unsweet Almond milk (cant do milk) and I add in a little orange sf Jello mix to bump up the orange flavor and add color. It tastes orangier when I can see the orange!
I like it, something different.
I make mine with water, ice cubes in the 'magic bullet'- style blender, or just shake in the shaker jar with the little wire ball. They can also be heated to make a hot drink (after blending),
Lots of ways to jazz it up, but prefer it pretty plain.

...and some others that I can't remember right now. I absolutely can not do the vanilla, chocolate, banana, strawberry flavors. They don't make my stomach hurt, they just make me sick to my stomach. ICK. I've tried adding fruit and SF syrups... tried with milk, soy milk, water. I just can't do it.
However, the Nectar Fruit Juice proteins are great. I love Roadside Lemonade (and you can mix it with any type of Crystal light to change it up), the Strawberry Kiwi & the Twisted Cherry. The trick with the Nectars is do NOT mix them with cold water. It changes the flavor and you get nasty clumps. I just mix it with room temp or luke warm water then add ice and shake again. Delicious. Post op, plain water makes my pouch yell, so almost everything I drink has a scoop of roadside lemonade nectar in it!
Celebrate has ENS with protein (it's a multi, plus 500 mg calcium, plus 25 grams protein in one shake) and I've tried the vanilla cake batter and the chocolate milk, but not the strawberry. The two I've tried, though, are both pretty good with water. They might send you free samples if you contact them and ask.

My problem is the shakes stay down. My pouch is still sensitive. I can eat yougurt, beans just fine and limited amounts of deli shaved poultry, shredded chicken and tuna. That's it. Anything else comes up. I've tried shrimp, other fish, ground turkey, ground turkey sausage, ground beef, cheese (some are okay). I end up relying on a shake for a1/3 of my protein b/c I feel so limited in what I can eat.
Or what about adding unflavored protein powder to low sodium broth instead of doing the unjury chicken soup? You'd probably need to add something to season it - low sodium broth usually isn't very tasty. But you could add some sort of salt substitute or herbs or something.

Main message I got out of the plethora of samples I've tried (and some containers I've tried and returned!) is, much like my taste in jewlery, my tongue likes EXPENSIVE! So, alas, no Body Fortress or generic Vitamin Shoppe powders for me.... the flavors/smell/textures just don't agree with me despite different preparations & s/f syrups ... Unjury & Nectar are my go-tos. And Premire Nutrition RTDs from Costco, but only the chocolate flavor as the vanilla is too gritty.
My preparation with chocolate & vanilla flavor powders usually is a protein latte: mixing the powder in a paste, warming almond or soy milk, adding fiber powder/flavoring/shot of decaf espresso and then tempering the protein paste into the hot liquids. Yum!
