Lots of intestinal noise, rumbling, and diarrhea.

Maybe it's a stomach bug or you pick up some icky bacteria. Stay hydrated. I picked up some bacteria and my intestines went through a marathon. My abdomen got pretty sore because I waited 4-5 days before I saw a doctor. I would get an antibiotic as soon as possible. I regret waiting so long because I had to postpone finals and I did not fully recover and have full energy until 3 weeks later. So as soon as you can see a doctor. Also beware of the potential for travelers" diarrhea.

I agree with possible bacterial infection and would suggest some good probiotics.  The refrigerated kind work fast!  Feel better soon.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

Try the BRAT diet? Bananas, rice, applesauce, toast? Too many carbs? But maybe in moderation? Also the pectin in grape jelly is supposed to help. Def probiotic could help.

Are you getting any fiber, it sounds counter-productive to diarrhea but fiber (like benefiber or metamucil) can add bulk to your stool, thus firming it up.  You also might need submit a stool sample for culture, diarrhea related to C. Diff  bacteria can go on like this and has a distinct/foul odor, google it and see it the symptoms fit....

I'll check it out.  Thanks.  This is one area that I have never had issues with, so I know very little about it!

I know this is a dumb question since you're an old-timer   -  Have you increased your vitamin C recently?  Too much will cause diarrhea.    I know you more than likely didn't, but just asking.  Best wishes

I'm having a similar issue and actually just gave myself my very first hemorrhoid as a result. Ouch! I started a probiotic today and I'm hoping it helps. Hope you're better soon!
