What are you eating/doing today? Wednesday!
i think most of us that post are much further out (there are some earlier post ops too though). where is your protein around? it seems like it would be a little low. maybe a protein shake or bar would help bring it up a bit? everyone is different though, as are the plans the surgeons have us follow. i would say as long as you're sticking to your plan and getting all your protein in you should be fine at this point, around 6 months is when i had to start playing around with calories to find the right amount i needed to lose. now i'm trying to figure out where that number is at 18 months with all the exercise i've been doing.
Good Day To You All. Yesturday Was A New Start For Me. Finally Came Back To My Senses. And I'm Starting A Fresh. Teeheehee. After Making Bad Eating Choices And Gaining 15 lbs. After Nearly Two Years Post Op. I Joined The Gym Yesturday And Went In For My First Workout This Morning. It Was AWESOME. I Feel Alive Once Again. I Even Went Out And Bought A Journal. So I Can Write Down Everything I Eat. And Am Starting To Plan My Meals Again. So Today. I Started Off With:
B: 1/2 Banana
Protein Shake- Berry
L: Ham/Turkey Rollups/Lettuce/Tomatoes.
S: Cottage Cheese
D: Lean Grilled Asada :)
And Lots And Lots Of Water.

Ugh, day three of being home with the sick child. And as an added bonus, I will be getting written up when I get back due to my absence. DH is on call this week, so he cannot take over childcare duties. Let the good times roll!

Yup.
Not much of anything today it seems. Had my 2 year follow up today with labs so I didn't eat anything until after and then it was the protein bar, then the peeps, and after shopping at Goodwill some Cheetos.
I don't know what to do for dinner. Really not interested.
Doc said I'm not eating enough to support my workout habits. I agree, but without the drive for food fueling me I just don't tend to eat. Work days I do well - I pack food and have a schedule. It's when I'm home or out that's the issue. No huger drive = no trigger that it's time to eat. I'm gonna work on this. I go from days with no eating to days that I feel like a bottomless pit. I GUESS they even out. But just for grins I'm gonna add in more protein supplementation. I eat a bar almost every day. I'll add in a drink to. Or maybe add a drink and trade out the bar for another drink. That's 70 grams more right there. He wants me closer to 2200 calories. I imagine that darn near improbable for me.

My husband is in Phoenix on business and I really miss him. No reason to cook for one so I have been picking up something on the way home from work and not eating much of it. I have so many leftovers in the fridge right now.

green beans sauteed with onions
a couple of bites of mashed potato

some Click protein shake mixed with milk

for the second time in a week my calories are ending up at 800. not 801, not 799. 800. so weird. i don't think i'll have anything more, since i just started sipping my shake (a little high in sugar tonight but i wanted a treat and this will definitely cover it).

L - string cheese (should have had more, but alas i did not)
D - yummy cheddar chicken soup i make
S - (now) white hot choclate protein shake. ya know the kind with an envelope of the regular white hot chocolate mix, but like i said i'm craving sweets and this is better then breaking into a box of oreos! plus my carbs are still pretty low today

exercise: 10 minute warm up on bike, day 2 week 4 couch to 5k (running more than walking now, other than the warm up/cool down which i skipped since i was doing other cardio too!), 12 mins on elliptical.
