What are you eating/doing today? Wednesday!
Hey folks.
I'm doing a "fly by" and figured I'd start the thread while I did!
Today is day 3 of 5 all day meetings at work. So far so good. I've been balanced in partaking vs. not partaking. These past few days though my appetite has been sort of nil. Interestingly, my food addiction still tells me I should eat and last night I tried to force myself to and that, as always, did not end well. And I live to see another day.
Here are my plans for today:
1. I just had some coffee with hazelnut creamer
2. Muscle Milk RTD chocolate
3. Whatever they serve for lunch
4. I have a Pure Protein bar for a snack
5. Dinner will be homemade beef BBQ that I made. The kids will have theirs on buns. Mine with just a sprinkle of cheese on top. And probably some Greek yogurt.
Ordinarily it'd be church dinner night BUT tonight my eldest daughter will participate in a mock trial for a program she's been in where she's been learning about crime scene investigation. So that's going to be kinda cool.
I'll try to post an update on the house situation this evening as there's a LOT to tell.

Snack: 1 oz pepperjack cheese and turkey pepperoni

Morning, I hear ya on the chip avoidance. We are gearing up for spring break. I plan to do some major spring cleaning. Too exspensive to go anywhere with gas prices the way they are.

What can I say my legs look nice in spandex so I have to do something cycle related to wear it!

Post workout: Denver Omlette all the filling and about 1.5 eggs
Snack: Half a Banana (This will be before my lunch ride)
Lunch: Meat or Possibly a Salad
Snack: Cheese (1oz) Ham(2oz)

Greetings from the weird North. Last night freezing temps, today...beautiful. Hopefully that'll flip over into tomorrow as I want to workout outside (i.e. run around town...literally). OH, I get new glasses next week! They're cute, match my red hair...and don't eat my face up.
I've been eating everything in sight the past few days. I think it's PMS, or weather blues, or dusty house blues (I've been lazy about picking up...but...I live alone. Who would EVER know??), or God-what-identifies-me blues (I like having a relationship with God...it's a little bumpy at the moment). Maybe a combo of all of the above. Dunno. But today I packed my bucket with good stuff, filled out my food log for the day and I'm at least happy with that.
B: 2 scoops MetRX protein powder, coconut almond milk, and a banana
S: 1/2 cup fresh sugar snap peas
L: Bumble Bee albacore (2.5 oz), 1/2 cup cottage cheese
S: Chobani Blueberry yogurt w/Kashi Go Lean Crunch (gets me through spin and training)
D: Trader Joe's turkey burger patty & 1/2 cup snap peas
Lots of water and an accidentally strong cup of coffee.

Yesterday I started working out after an extended break due to injury. Out of curiousity, I tracked everything I ate just to be sure I was eating enough. I don't think I'm getting enough calories! My macros look ok but I'm only at 1600 cals. While my BMR is 2015, if I'm strength training, my cals should be about 300 higher. Peanut butter, here I come!

S-I have an apple or a chobani in blood orange (great flavor if anyone has been thinking about trying it)
D-Got a piece of top round in the crock pot w/tomato sauce, green peppers and some onion. I'll have that with some type of bean. Cook an ear of corn for the DH to have with.

I've got a BIG order that needs to ship out by 4:30, so in an effort to not procrastinate, I'm locking my laptop in my car and am actually going to work today.
I'll go to the gym this evening when I'm done.
B - Atkins shake
L - I might go out, take a break, and get some salad bar fixins.
S - Babybel cheese, or maybe some cottage cheese
D - Chicken sausages with veggies
Dessert - Atkins peanut butter bar or a Pure Protein bar. Will need the extra protein today.
I'll go to the gym this evening when I'm done.

My mom had a second knee replacement yesterday so between that, work, and preparing for my marathon this Sunday, I am major stressed and my eats are reflecting it.
Just sayin....
- french toast and bacon for breakfast
- leftovers from dinner for lunch
- lasagna for dinner.
nice, huh? At least I will be carbo-loaded for Sunday! : )
