Hello Everyone!

I just wanted to let everyone know that my RNY 12 hours ago was a success. I am still extremely grogging and in a little pain but I just wanted to give an update.

I was upfront with my team about the smoking and I am so glad I was. Of course, they were not happy but were glad that I was hoest with them and felt that everything would be okay. So far, so good. Officially starting my new life!

Will update more later. Nodding off again...

Congrats! Thanks for the update; so glad it went well and that the smoking wasn't a major issue :)

So how do you feel? Full?

I really don't feel full right now. But, I have no appetite, just not hungry. My mouth is terribly dry and I am trying to keep it moist. I did the swallow test, it was good with no leaks but liquid passed a little slow through my esophagus and it made me nauseous. And, as I type, had my first bout with retching, might have swallowed a little toothpaste... Was not bad though. I will always give honest accounts!
