Has any one noticed their sex drive is almost non existant after surgery? Could it be the hormones being released? I feel like my boyfriend constantly wants to do stuff and I'm just like "eh".

Mine wasn't much more existant before surgery, either.  Could have been menopause among other things but I am happy to report that things are much improved.  It happened around 18 months after surgery and I don't what caused it but my boyfried isn't complaining.

I have ZERO sex drive...in fact i'm physically DRAINED 99.9% of the time...dont know if it's because of the RNY, or the Hysterectomy i had 6 months prior...

Yes! I thought it was just me...so glad to see this post on here.  I have absolutely zero sex drive since the surgery & basically go through the motions to keep my hubby happy....and he gets aggravated because he seems to be able to sense that I am just going through the motions despite my best efforts.  Very frustrating for both of us!
Was going to ask my GYN at my next appt if I need to take testosterone or something......

Mine was kind of cyclical during the first year or so... it would come and go in what appeared to be a completely random pattern.  It was definitely lower during the first few months, but I think that is to be expected given the physical strain on your body from consuming so little food and your body having to heal from surgery.

Overall, though, mine increased.

I haven't had any problems with the drive...but plenty of problems with "finishing" if you know what I mean.

Don't know if that's the surgery though or the fact I have been back on Prozac for the past few months.
