What would YOU do with all that money? (And by all that money I mean the 50% of it that would be left after Uncle Sam took his cut).

Well...after I paid off my credit cards, car, and student loans...lol I would probably invest some of what was left and then start house hunting. For that kind of money I could get the land and have exactly what I want built. I would donate some to charities as well as donate a SIZEABLE chunk to the hospital I work at to build us a new/better NICU. I think I would also buy property right outside of Disney (or maye in Disney at Golden Oaks) so I could go down there whenever I wanted.

One thing I would not do...quit my job, lol (though the per diem position, that would be done).

ETA: Plastics, oh yes, there would be plastics. I would also go back to "school" and become a licensed massage therapist to do on the side and eventually become my retirement job.

I wouldn't quit my job either, but I would become a major donor to my organization. This year I set a goal for myself to become what we call a "mid-level" donor ($5k or more) and since they deduct by paycheck I was able to do it! I believe in what we do that much.

I'll post what I'd do in a separate post.

I dream of this often since most months I don't end up having enough to pay all the bills let alone have extra!

*  I would start my own business offering support to teens/adults on the Autism Spectrum.  I would offer my co workers jobs since they are talented and underappreciated where we currently work!
*  I would buy me a brand new (never had a brand new) Prius V and my husband a brand new truck.
*  I would pay off both mortgages and have all of the things that need to be done to my house.
*  Give my house to my mother and buy a nicer house in a better school district.
*  Start a gym that was based on recess when we were kids.  Tag, dodgeball, etc!
*  Buy an RV and hit the road!
*  I would try to support local charities that help people who have fallen on bad times

So here's what I would do:

1. Freak out.
2. Freak out
3. Freak out
4. Once one of the divas kindly slaps me, I'd call my financial planner to find out if the lump sum or annuity payment would be best
5. I would pay off ALL my debt: car, credit cards, etc. (not the house. The house is still going bye-byes)
6. I'd buy my mom a house, hire her a home care assistant and an assistive chair. Oh...and a new car
7. I'd buy my brother, his gf, her son and my new baby niece a good starter home
8. I would buy myself a new home (I put me last cuz I take FOREVER to make decisions for myself)
9. I would give a large chunk to my church
10. I'd set up a trust for each of the divas and one for my niece
11. I would give a large chunk to my organization and to our companion effort to eradicate malaria deaths in Africa
12. Honestly? I'd probably set it up so I had some sort of supplementary payment in intervals but the rest would be invested. After my house is al furnished, I have a new car and the kids are set up I would still work. OH...
13. I'd go back and get my master's degree!
14. I think I would get plastics on at least my arms. The other surgeries kinda scare me.

1. Hire around the clock aides for my mom so she can move back home. She is in a nursing   home after a bad stroke and can't walk.
2. Share with my family
3. Build a new house and buy a new car
4. Travel with my kids
5. Build a fitness center in my town
6. Quit my job but start a business
7. Share with my friends and Church

I could go on and on

I think about this too, just because it's fun to dream.

Like everyone else, I would pay off everything.

I would set up a foundation to support community organizations. I have this idea that it would be cool to encourage teenagers to get involved, do community service and provide them with a way to request grants for the organizations they support.

I would set trusts for all of my kids and grandkids. I want to give them assistance, but I still want them to learn how to make a way for themselves.

I would probably quit my current job, and make my full time job running the foundation.

There would be travel and investments.

Yeah, it's fun to think about. But I gotta buy a ticket to win.

 1) Pay off all our debts
2) Our church currently meets in the gym of a local christian school...I'd build a church!
3) Put away for our childrens college, and just future in general, give to family
4) Buy a house..or 2 (:
5) Have the best plastics around after I reach my goal..lol

Im not sure if my husband would quit his job or not
