My argument in favor of protein shakes
I hope you DO start to see your progress because from where we are sitting you are a FINE HUNK OF MAN!!!!

I have hit that dreaded stall just 15 weeks out and only 40 lbs down - i know that the protein shakes will help and i am determined to find one.
Check out the recipes on bariatricfoodie.com, too. How you make them makes a big difference. None of my favorites are that tasty to me if I just mix them with water and shake. Most of the them I like made with milk and then with other stuff added. Some taste significantly better to me when made in the blender with ice then just shaken with milk.

I still have 2 mornings a week when I work out with the PT, if I have a 5k, or if I am in a rush.
I think having a "drink" for breakfast is one argument my Gorilla (I loved that reference lol ) uses for wanting to eat more at night.
My body loves it that way!

Agree with you on so many points.
Additionally - some of us need more proteins. I need 120-150 gr a day. If I do not - my blood level drops to low normal and I can feel a difference. Some days - I may be able to get that on food. Most days - food alone - even eating 5-7 times a day may give me 70-90 gr. After all I do want to have some veggies, and some carbs, and fats.

Between starting up the shakes again and my new Quest bar addiction, Ive been able to up my daily protein intake to over 100g a day. Oh, and the PB2 and Greek Yogurt...
Now, if I could just get the F#$%ing scale to move I'd be SET!
