OT- strange visitor, does this sound right to you?

Eek.  Kelly, I hope you called (or plan on calling) the gas company.

Next time a strange person comes to your door, tell them you can't talk long as you have to take your Rottweiler out for a walk.  ;)

Actually, my mom (who is also in Ohio) had something similar happen (but different gas company).  When she talked to him for a while, she discovered he was actually from a competing gas company, trying to get people to switch to this new company.  The only reason we can think of for him asking to see the gas bill was in order to get the customer name.
