Those veggies sound delish, I may have to try them with my turkey meatballs...mmmm. I also don't think it's sad when we get excited about when we can eat something again. I look at it like this, the old me would have eaten as though I wouldn't get the chance to eat it again. Now, I savor the flavor, and love that I can look forward to something strange for breakfast lol

UGH.... had to come back and add on

I did have tilapia for dinner
(steamed w/ onion, provolone, cherry tomatoes, sprinkle of lemon juice) with some steamed cabbage)

THEN instead of my planned snack of turkey pepperoni / cheese (about 120-130 cals) I had cottage cheese and peanut butter for 340 calories!!!!!!

I really have to a) stop having shakes for breakfast
b) start eating more chicken, beef and pork for dense, more filling protein. I love tilapia and it is soooo easy, but it sure doesn't seem to hang around long.

I was out most of the day running around. Had my Dr. app. for my month check up. Took my mom to some appts. So here it is.

B= thin slice turkey deli meat wrapped around about an oz. of sharp cheddar.
L= one potatoe cake from Arby's dipped in cheddar sauce. ( I know not good but we were out and I was afraid to try something too different than I've eaten. I hadnt had anything fried yet but it was potatoe, sometimes meat makes me nausiuas)
D=1 veeery thin slice of a pork loin that I had rubbed down with a great dry rub, ( my own recipe ) a couple days ago. Its been marinating in the spices Yum. My husband came home from work and rotteseried it on the grill while smoking it at the same time with mesquit chips.
I took time eating it and chewed like crazy.
didnt make me sick. thats how good it was. My body would dare let it go.
