Can I just say again how I love reading what everyone else is eating - it satisfies my nosiness and gives me ideas at the same time.

I am uber bad and boring today - stressful day - daughter home sick, I have a photoshoot for work tomorrow for pictures for our website and the clothes I ordered for said photo shoot arrived and didn't fit right, so I had to go to the mall to get something with the pressure of  my mother watching said sick child and stressing because it still overwhelms me to shop - *deep breath*, AND I had to go back out to shop - I should have went to the Banana Republic I like to start with and avoided this entire mess! - ANYWAY (it  just felt good to vent that out!):

Breakfast - 3 or 4 Starbucks French Roast K-cups, 1 slices Boars Head bacon and a 1/2 of a scrambled egg with shredded jack cheese.

Snack - cheese stick

Lunch - grande Starbucks with half of a petite vanilla scone (my eskie ate the other half when I got home from the mall -

Snacks when I got home from mall - handful of cashews and popcorn, popchip with faux cookie dough (chick peas ground up and flavored to taste like cookie dough) and an ounce or so of fresh mozzarella.

More coffee for round two of my shopping expedition

Dinner when I got home - Fairway market store-made turkey breast with turkey gravy from Trader Joe's, instant mashed and the husband ate his over bread, like an open face turkey sammie.

Snacks for rest of the night - about time chocolate whey, PB2, vahlrona cocoa powder, truvia, milk, a splash of heavy cream and water for a huge shake, a half of a pecan sandie from Fairway market and a bite of coconut macaroon from Fairway.  I may have some almonds (also from Fairway - for my NYC & NJ friends - that place ROCKS!), and a valium - daughter drove me nuts.

WOW - that was great getting all of that out - if you have read this far, thanks :)

I made the fam pasta with meat sauce. I just ate the meat sauce. If I can stay up long enough I am really craving a banana protein shake.

So my therapist and I were talking tonight about setting goals for our sessions. She says, "When I first started working out with a trainer, he asked me what my goals were. I told him, 'When I run and come to a stop, I want the rest of me to stop at the same time.'"

I had Lean Cuisine's steak tips portabello. It was "okay". I really liked the brocolli. Not a fan of the sauce. Plus, super salty. I feel like I could drink Lake Huron.

I had mushroom quiche for dinner tonight.

costco stopped selling the mushroom and brocolli quiche two-packs, so now I'm stuck with their new offerings: spinach/artichoke and swiss/ham quiches.

I made an awesome new quiche over the weekend. Spinach, brocolli, turkey, leek, onion, and cheese. Yum.

Today, aside from a headache that just wouldn't go away no matter what I did, I was feeling pretty good. First day back from spring vacation. I joyously told two of my three classes that they should feel honored. I spent sixteen hours of my vacation making THIRTEEN new worksheets that they HAVE to do but aren't getting any credit for. They were thrilled. My third class, I told them that, sadly, I didn't take any time to come up with extra work for them, and i hoped they didn't feel deprived or anything. They assured me that they felt loved enough already without my giving them extra work. :-)
