What's for dinner? Monday!

 Ok, I think I have a tropical disease ;)

Seriously, I felt loads better earlier but now not so much. I am sort of cold and shaky and my head hurts again and I can feel the congestion returning. I hate the night crud!

Luckily dinner is a snap. I bought a rotisserie chicken so we can eat off of that.

But still..ugh!  hate being sick!

Here's what else I had today:

1. Cinnamon overload oatmeal (about 1/3 c. oats)
2. Chicken salad on a bed of salad with half a honeycrisp apple
3. Two string cheeses

So my protein is a bit low right now (only about 40g so far). I may have a protein shake to make up the difference. Not sure.

I'm going to try the cauliflower pizza crust tonight.  Cauliflower finally went on sale here....nothing like paying $10 for a head of cauliflower.  I have been reading all of the online recipes I can get my hands on....going to try for a crispy crust with marinara, onion, Italian sausage, fresh basil and mozzarella.

I hope I can get it crispy enough!  If I can get it to work out well, I will order a smaller pizza stone for my Breville oven.  I hate warming up the big oven for the small amounts I cook for myself nowadays!

I had an 1115 appointment to have a lump removed from my nec****pt checking my phone for missed calls because I expected them to reschedule AGAIn but nothing. So I show up and they tell me they left a voicemail at 830 rescheduling me at 1.
Awesome. So I drove back across town and had lunch, helped my mom, then drove BACK to the hospital. Finished just in time for me to rush to work for a special "Job Shadowing" with part of our HR department, and now I have another 8 hours in my shift.
Yee. Haw.

B - Chike banana protein w/ skim milk
L - 1pc P28 bread toasted w/ provolone cheese and hickory smoked tuna, low fat mayo
S - quest bar
D - either tilapia or salmon ??
If I have another snack it will be turkey pepperoni / laughing cow light cheese

Spent all day out. Went to the gym and got a great workout this morning, then out to the dogpark and hiking trails with my husky, and then an impromptu game of "tennis" (my kid throws the ball, I hit it, he goes chasing after it). I'm whupped.

Dinner will be leftover pot roast and a few of the accompanying vegs.

I had spicy tuna rolls for lunch (minus most of the rice), and I might have a few more of the spicy "crab" rolls for an after-dinner snack.

 No idea here... Had a 1/2 tuna sandwich for breakfast w/lowfat mayo.  Trying to decide on lunch. Dinner is something out of hamburger....thinking either beef stew or some beans with cayanne and garlic..some cheese and grill a tortilla.  Already got in my b12 - D..taking my multi's now and in 3 hours I'll get my iron...bedtime is my biotin..

Hi All

We spent the day being tourists in DC.  So much to see here and the blossoms are beautiful right now.  We moved here a few months ago and are enjoying the sites.  

Breakfast:
Click protein shake on the way to the metro

Lunch:
mini lobster and avocado sliders on brioche

Dinner
a little of my husband's kobe burger and a couple of sweet potato fries

Maybe a protein shake or bar later...just tired from walking.
