You can portion and freeze butter for later use.   Bread - give it away - butter - use it.. Love me some butter... I use mine in FF veggies- lean meat soups.  Butter - good ...

Hala,

I didn't bring veggies. I was just asked to bring the bread and dessert (which I bought cake). So yes...it is a near complete waste. The butter I'll keep. The rest I'll give away.

Well I'm pre-surgery but tonight I had two grilled fish tacos on corn tortillas. Grilled cod marinated in lime juice and acho chile powder, with red and green cabbage, and avocado cream (avocado, ff sour cream, lime juice).

My husband is Irish and people saying Patty for Patrick is a huge pet peeve for him. It's actually Paddy that is short for Patrick and that's what the English say, not the Iri****hought I would share that since I've heard it about 30 times this week and it isn't even the 17th yet lol

I actually know that. But it's sort of force of habit at this point.

Let's just keep that little indiscretion between us, k? ;)

I was out most of the day so ate a little different than normal, breakfast was a protein shake with strawberries and a half of banana, a Good protein bar for snack, a junior whopper with cheese minus the bottom bun for lunch and broccoli chicken w/o rice for dinner, maybe a yogurt later.

B- Greek yogurt with fresh blueberries and strawberries
L- Fish with small salad & vinaigrette
D- Grilled chicken thigh with preserved lemons (made the yummy stuff myself), fresh herbs out of my herb garden and fresh garlic,  with roasted asparagus and Bessel sprouts with a drizzle of olive oil.   Dang I sound as pretentious as Martha Stewart... but it was rather Delicious and healthy

B: small cup of sugar free Jell-O
L: can of classic vegetable soup
D: Grilled Lean hamburger patty with low-fat cheese on top and used a tablespoon of the new heinz low sugar ketchup to dip it in.
Snack = sunflower seeds throughout the day.

I gotta pick up on the protein as i have hit a wall when it comes to my weight loss.

Also, to the person talking about the legislation.....
As a teacher you should grade the kids on their merits and not what political party they or their parents are linked to.  My mother was a teacher and always graded them on their performance.  If you do work in that sort of way then it would only be fair for the students to have their teacher punished regardless of what party they affiliate with  I am not a democrat nor am i a republican either, i also think that your legislature is wrong.  Don't just think that all conservatives or republicans think the way that you are portraying in your story. It's these bone heads that let their power go to their head and think that they can make up whatever they want and make the people suffer for their actions.  I think the government should be limited to what is covered in the constitution and stay the hell out of the people's way. Let the free market and the free people thrive!

I had a very weighty session with my trainer. He had me do a circuit of curls and presses with dumb bells, ranging from 5 to 20 pounds, ropes and pushups. After a half hour of that, I had spin class. Did 20.5 miles. I'm totally pooped.

Today I had...
B: 2 scoops Met Rx w/Silk Light and plain Greek yogurt ala Ninja
S: McCann's Irish Oatmeal
L: Cottage cheese w/cherry tomatoes
S: Chef Boyardee Mini Ravioli

That actually carried me through spin. I have to make more oatmeal this weekend.

I hit all my numbers for the day, no grazing or snacking. I gave myself a treat tonight and had Breyers Carb Smart ice cream (vanilla). Totally hit the spot. I got all my vitamins and fiber (Miralax) in. Drank tons of water. No coffee. :(

It was a good day for me. I'm super proud.

B - turkey sausage, egg and pepper jack on a slice of whole wheat
L - salsa/cream cheese chicken w/ black beans and tons of Frank's Red Hot
S - Apple and cheese stick
S#2 - way too many jelly beans complete with a side of dumping at work...long time since I have done that, not doing it again anytime soon!
D - homemade parmesan chicken strips, lettuce salad and a few bites of rice (aka the devil's food as it hurt like hell to eat it tonight)

Tomorrow will be a better day.
