So...how was your day? (Expansion of "what's for dinner")

I just got home. WHEW! What a busy day. Today I:

Went to the farmer's market
Came home to get the divas
Took them to art class at the Y and got in my workout (my mile is solidly a 10 minute mile so I did 2.5 miles in 25 minutes. Now to work on getting the 10 to a 9...)
Took them to lunch (Chick-Fil-A)
Then took them shoe shopping (which took up the remainder of the afternoon and involved walking the loop of a mall whose loop is a mile long several times)

So...I'm ready to CHILL.

We actually have not had dinner yet. Well, the divas haven't. I'm eating Greek yogurt as I type.

Here's what else I had today:

1. PB Greek yogurt
2. A 100-cal thing of party mix
3. A Chick-Fil-A spicy chicken cool wrap
4. An Auntie Anne's pretzel
5. Greek yogurt

So...not my best Saturday but certainly not my worst. Working on my adobo chicken and may have a piece when it's done. May not. I dunno.

What have you been up to today?

WHEN U SAY PB GREEK YOGURT DO U PUT PB POWDER IN THE YOGURT?..I GOT SOME FROM AMAZON THE OTHER DAY BUT DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO W IT YET...IM IN MY FULL LIQUID STAGE SO IM SPICING UP MY PROTEIN SHAKES TOO JUST A LIL SCARED TO ADD THE PB..LOL

I use PB2 sometimes yes. This time, no.

Search "PB2" on www.bariatricfoodie.com (the search bar is on the right menu bar). Plenty of ways to use it!

No...I actually love full fat Greek yogurt but since I can't have that AND the peanut butter, I just nuke 1 tbsp PB to get it liquidy and add the yogurt, some Splenda and Fiber One. With the stuff I use it comes out to about 150 calories, 7.5g fat, 14g fiber 25g protein.

...And it's very yummy!

Play nurse today to my friend, she called me at 7am and her back gave out on her, so I have been with her all day. making sure she takes her pain meds and eat.. I did have oatmeal this morning, and just drank a lot of water today, just had dinner which was a egg and cheese omelet. Did get all my vitamins in today. Will do better tomorrow :)

busy day, but i'm trying a new protein powder. it's a vegan powder. i bought it at the health food store and apparently didn't pay attention to the flavor. i thought i got unflavored and apparently i got vanilla chai. very strong flavor - not bad just strong.

i have no idea how to doctor up chai lol

Today could have been an epic fail... but I beat down the monster of my own self criticism. WOOT!
I got up early (515) after a very rough, sleepless night. Headed downtown for a prediction run 5k (largest in the country - today was 13,350 runners. Well, 13,349 because I didn't participate - I went back hom. I felt horrible - been fighting severe dizziness.

Oh well.
Quick nap, counseling session, dog to training class, youngest nephew's baseball game (one of the mom's from last year saw me and out of the corner of my eye I saw her point and mouth to my sister "is that LORI?!?" HAHA).

B - 1/2 multigrain english muffin w/ PB2
S - laughing cow light cheese wedge
L - tilapia and cheese
S - Quest bar
D - crunchy taco from Taco Bell; ordered pintos and cheese but they gave me "fiesta potatoes" instead, so just had the taco
S - I may have another quest bar to meet my protein goals, or a shake *shrug*

Busy day here also.  Went to Riverdance last night w/ my daughter and granddaughter.  It was very good.  Spent the night with them and we went swimsuit shopping today.  I may NEVER get over the trauma of seeing myself naked in a full view mirror probably for the first time in 45 years.  OMG!  With 140# lost I am one saggy baggy elephant.  Did find a suit at TJMax.  Pretty much what I was looking for and reasonably  priced.  A size larger than I thought but at this point I don't care.  Just wanted to get in and get out.

So eats today were:
steel cut oats
crab legs from Red Lobster (daughter's treat) yummy and of course a cheese biscuit
Stirfry with cube steak vegs and black rice
Godiva choc with raspberry just 1 serving
and may have oats for bedtime snack

Nik - I am having a senior moment.  My daughter took a picture of my granddaughter and me last night and I want to try and post it but I can't find the new topic button.  Can you help this old feebleminded lady?  Thanks

 Well I had a busy day also, got up and went on a mile bike ride. Then took a shower and got dressed and went to my friends house and raided her closet. That is the first time I have ever been able to do that because I have always been bigger than anybody. The close was too big for her because she had her surgery in Dec. and mine was in Nov. 

Lets see I have ate:
1 egg omelet with mushrooms and cheese
light string cheese
grilled chicken and cottage cheese

Now it is time to relax in the hottub!
