*snerk* Maybe if there was a breathalyzer for Internet acces there would be less drama and bad grammar/ typos, but I doubt it.

Excellent idea!  Then those crafting a helpful response can move along and not waste time trying to help allowing time to support and help someone else.

You're right...the truth hurts, but if we are going to get this right, we better be willing to hear the truth.

But maybe I don't want to get it right.  Maybe I just want to eat cheesecake.

So true...hopefully once we hear what we don't want to hear we will change our mind abut eating the cheesecake.  That is the best part of this forum....it helps keep me on track, usually.

Humm!

I do more reading than posting and if I do reply I try to be helpfull and kind.
I have replyed to people that didn't ecknowledge me when I have reached out to them,.
or for the help I thought I was giving, I try to be helpfull and sincier.

I only told 4 people I was getting WLS and where I was getting it done
because I didn't want to hear anything negative or be judged,

However posting here at times you get a reply, y did u do this or y did u do that, from
people your asking a question to, in hopes someone can help you.
Most here that post want help from someone who's
been around the block so to speak,. they are not asking to be shamed
or get judged for things they have done, bad, good or indifferent.

As for my last post I got a lot of Y's, all I wanted was some info.

Who on this board has the right to cast the first stone!
Just saying!

I don't know what your last post was about.  But sometimes people need more information than has been posted at first before they can help.

For instance, if someone posts, "I have not taken any vitamins in six months.  What should I do?  Help!"  I could simply reply, "Take your vitamins!"  But I would probably ask, "Why haven't you taken them?"  The answer to that question would allow me to be more helpful.

If the poster hasn't been taking vitamins because they hate the taste of chewables, I would point out that the ASMBS says we can swallow pills and also suggest that, if they want chewables, they could try some different brands.

If the poster hasn't been taking vitamins because they had a financial crisis and can't afford them, I would suggest some ways to get cheap vitamins.

See how asking why would allow me to be much more helpful?  That's not throwing stones, that's helping.
