OK, I said there might be a test later.  Here it is!

1.       How much iron does the ASMBS say men should take a day?

2.      How much iron do menstruating women need?

3.      What type of calcium is recommended by the ASMBS?

4.      The ASMBS specifically recommends selecting a multivitamin with selenium and which other mineral(s)?

5.      When does the ASMBS say we should start taking our multivitamins?

6.      When do they say we should start taking our calcium?

And, the essay question: if you read the guidelines, what’s something new you learned that surprised you?

That some of the medications I have been taking for several years may have been contributing to my Vit b12 deficiency...I guess I need to pay more attention to potential side effects of the meds I am on! Also I feel I have a much better overall understanding of the importance of taking the right kinds of vitamin supplements and how they are related to keeping the body functioning optimally.
