Cymbalta
I've heard good things from people I know who've used Cymbalta - especially with the somatic/body symptoms of depression. I'm proud of you for starting to take care of yourself!!!

I've been on Cymbalta in the past. My one piece of advice: make sure you don't run out! The withdrawal symptoms are hell.
Now I'm on Prozac and Wellbutrin, which seem to be working better for me. But everybody (and every brain!) is different, so this may be just what you need.

Keep on swimming! Keep on swimming!
i've been taking it off and on for the majority of 6 1/2 years. luckily i don't have any issues when i stop taking it, but starting it i get all the weird beginning side effects again. it makes a huge difference when i'm on it, but i'm one of those people that even though i know i'm wrong in my thinking, thinks that if i feel better i don't need to keep taking it.
I've been on it for several years after my Lexapro stopped working. I also take a 5 mg Abilify kicker with it. I have had NO panic attacks since I started it!!! Yay! Not one. I feel better than I have felt in the 10 years since I was diagnosed with GAD/depression. If it works for you, it's going to be awesome. But, it often takes a while of trial and error to find the right medication combination for each person. Be patient and communicate with your doctor. Congratulations on taking care of yourself!
