I did some googling.
According to Medscape News today, one study found that 7.65% of RNY patients developed kidney stones, as compared to 4.63% of obese patients that did not have surgery. That's no where close to 50%! I'd really like to know where you got 50% from.

Protein shakes made with milk really fill me up. Almond milk and water do not nearly have the same effect on me as ones made with milk.
Hamburger too. I made a meatloaf recipe a month ago and made 3oz portions to freeze. They really fill me up (but I'm also not as far out as you).

Dense protein is what is good for you and what makes you feel full. If you eat your protein requirements it will automatically limit the amount of carbs you can eat; stick to lightly cooked vegetables to satisfy your carb needs and avoid white and processed carbs which tend to lead to cravings.
This really is what we should all be learning in our honeymoon period and adopting as our our plan for life.
Protein shakes and greek yoghurt are slider foods and do not sit in the pouch long enough to make us feel satiated longer.

Your best bets are DENSE proteins (rather than slider foods like yogurt)... Cheese, chicken, red meat, dense fish like tuna, and hard boiled eggs are my most common dense proteins (and the items that fill me up most quickly). The red meat is higher in calories than the chicken or tuna, but is still a good choice in terms of density and protein count.
