daily vitamin check in
I'm getting ready to take my iron and C. Already got my multis, calcium, vitamin A and magnesium oxide in! How are you doing?

Sorry to hijack but wanted to ask you. I take separate calcium and iron supp as well as a multi-vit. I know you take calcium and iron at least 2 hours apart. I've been taking my calcium (withD3) with my multi-vit and then iron (with vitC) 2+ hours later. My question... My multi has iron in it. Will that effect the calcium absorption? Or is it the other way, calcium effects the iron absorption? Or is it that both effect the others absorption and should take the multi-vit 2 hours +/- not only the iron but also he calcium?

Calcium blocks the absorption of iron. So if you take your multi with your calcium, you'll absorb the calcium but not the iron in your multi.
