OT: strange things you have wondered about your therapist
i have been going to my counselor for about 7yrs, so at this point there are things I wonder and I just ask .... usually about his marriage (my parents weren't exactly models of vow keeping) , about his interactions with his now adult kids;
I wonder some weird stuff too... like does he even own ragged work clothes? sweats? I know he works in the yard a lot, but I just picture him in khakis and a polo lol.
I wonder about what he does on his days off because his wife works. I imagine it is the same as any married guy on his day off - but it seems mystical because I can't see him as an average guy (that would be dangerous to my trust in him).
After rreading your response i do now remember wondering a couple of times what the counselor that I saw for about 7 years (*****cently retired) looked like with no makeup on. (Being a counselor myself, I had the opportunity to see her at some counseling related venues with casual clothes on, so that was no mystery.)

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
I actually wondered about my Plastic Surgeon..I wondered if he lives with his family, is he a home body..is he really this nice in reality? Can he look at women and not scrutinize everything?
I wish he had a book or something or even went to lunch with him to find out more about him.. its the 1st time in my life I have wondered about anyone this much..

mine wasn't so much random.... but when i was seeing one when me and my ex broke up she was pretty much trying to convince me he had found someone else (he didn't and didn't date anyone for about a year, we went back to being friends a few months later). i just wanted to know what man had scorned her and what he did lol. she also then told me that she couldn't help me (on my second visit) and if i had nothing else to talk about to leave (obviously i did leave at that point)
