RIGHT ON! I think sometimes folks get so excited about their fave foods that they try to force them on others too. I've seen it. I think I used to be one of those people!

On a more serious item though
I don't have to eat more carbs than I do if I don't want to.
Doing the volumes of cardio that I sometimes do in a week carbs become an essential element in a diet as they are the primary fuel source. Even knowing this and the fact that processing protein as a fuel source is not ideal I still maintain a fairly low carb diet.
