What are you doing/eating today? Saturday!

Yeah I pretty much decided that if I'm going to stay on track on Saturdays, I gotta do like it's a weekday and PLAN! So here goes:

Besidesgoing to theY to work out at 2 (and take my youngest to her art class) my day is pretty free flowing.

I've made a resolution to go see my mom every week (sigh) so I'll stop over there afterward.

Eats:

1. PB Greek yogurt with Fiber One
2. Around 1-ish: Some scrambled eggs with cheese, sauteed lunch meat and veggies
3. Banana before/after workout (half on either end)
4. I made this seriously yummy fish last night. I grilled a tilapia filet with just some sal/pepper, then spread some leftover filling from my chicken rollatini in it (had cream cheese, parm cheese, greek yogurt, onion and garlic powder and spinach) and put some spaghetti sauce and little grated parm over that. It was good and took only minutes to make so I'm thinking that again.
5. If I feel up to making some sort of dessert tonight I will

I laid in bed and had a full-fledged debate about gettin' up and going to the gym for yoga and a new hip-hop class. Then I realized this girl can't dance, hell I can't walk and chew gum at the same time! So I instead am enjoying a leisurely morning, sipping coffee, planning and plotting my day, and am going to fly by the seat of my pants...Oh and if the sun ever does come out today, I intend to take my snowshoes and go for a trek in the town forest. Of note, my Body Media program gave me kudos for a new personal best yesterday...25 minutes of vigorous exercise! YeeHaw! I did a HR interval training on the treadmill...pints were sweated, calories were burned, muscles were fatigued!

B: scrambled eggs with cheese/turkey sausage
L: Southwest Chicken Barley Stew/salad
S: Quest Brownie Protein Bar
D: I'm feeling like Sushi/Sashimi and some edamame (that's just fun to say isn't it?)
S: Greek Yogurt (plain), jazzed up with strawberries, granola

Rainy, chilly day and my husband is still asleep so I am downstairs curled up with a blanket in front of our electric fireplace and watching the rain and cruising around on my laptop.  Lots of Canadian geese flying by today as well as a hawk and eagle.

Drinking a sugar free latte now but probably a Quest protein bar afterwards.

I will probably make  a chef salad for lunch since I have some leftover roast and lots of veggies.

Dinner
Not sure but I have both crockpots going for meals during the week.

Enjoy your day.

It's kind of an advantage to working from home, I think--every day feels like a weekday.

This morning, breakfast is my usual greek yogurt.
Lunch will be some leftover turkey and gravy from dinner last night.
I'm going to my mom's for dinner, and she's making roast chicken, gravy, mashed potatoes, and I'm roasting up a bunch of veggies to go with. I'm a little nervous--it's the first time I've eaten in front of my family since surgery. I haven't had a single problem getting regular softer foods down, but I admit, I've got a little "stage fright".

I'm going out today to shop for the kids' Purim costumes. My back is still completely screwed up beyond belief, so I'll pick up some Thermacare wraps and hope that helps.

Severe storms last night left us with a gorgeous Saturday but chilly. Did 8 miles at the lake early now just doing laundry and watching The Cutting Edge (love this movie).

- click and skim prerun (must have this before I run in the am)
- a few gum balls
- veggie and dip kit with cheese and almonds
- forgot about the clif gel during the run (100 calories!!!)

No clue but dinner will be out

Be happy.

Did you see the link somebody posted for the deep dish pizza. The crust is made of ground cooked chicken and motzarilla cheese . I think the link was on the lightweight forum. I have made this twice now . It is so good and easy my whole family loved it.
