Is your real name Apple. I love that!

Thanks for letting me know that. It's very encouraging to hear that folks find the site useful.

Have a great day!

I'm always reading all kinds of health stuff, and I read recently that manufactured milk goes through a process to keep it from separating, but fresh milk doesn't.  Please don't ask me what the process is called, lol.  I don't remember the name.  I think if you freeze the organic milk you'll have better luck than with the raw milk because of the processing involved.  They might both be fine though.  If you freeze both let us know how it works.

Yeah, it's called homogenization.  I'm not sure how they do it but they break down the fat globules so it doesn't separate.  With the raw milk, I have to shake it before I use it; the cream all rises to the top.

Hi Kelly, Know you don't necessarily like egg noodles or pasta, but you could turn it into tuna casserole. Tuna, noodles, cream of mushroom soup...tada. I don't know if you have kids at home, but it is one of the cheapest meals you can make for about $3.00. Idk that's all I can think of besides chicken and noodles, or chicken noodle soup. I have no idea how much fat or calories are in it but deep fried ice cream is actually corn flakes. Maybe there is something to create wls friendly along those lines. I'm just ramblin on. Glad to hear that you're getting help.

Hee hee.  Fried ice cream is what my partner said when I asked him what we were going to do with all these corn flakes.  Hmm.   Maybe I'll get some sugar free ice cream and make some!  I haven't had any since before my surgery.

It's not so much that I don't like pasta, but my pouch doesn't like it.  Or only likes it in small amounts.  I don't eat tuna (or any other meat) but putting some noodles in soup is not a bad idea.  I love homemade soup.  If I made some sort of veggie soup and threw in some noodles, I could eat a few noodles and then a lot of veggies.
