Wow, steak sounds sooo good right now...but i'm kinda scared to try beef at this stage...i'm afraid it might get stuck...my sister thinks i should try Beef Jerky...it would take me FOREVER to chew it to the point of being able to swallow it without it getting stuck...

One of the things I've wondered, is what others feel or mean when they write about their pouch was full or their pouch didn't like something.

For me, it's pain. And I have pain just about every time I eat after just a bite or two. I have to wait and see if it subsides and I can eat more. Usually it does. Mornings are the most difficult. Texture or density doesn't seem to matter. I've have it with soft foods like cottage cheese and soups as well as things like chicken.

I had a stricture at three weeks out ad the pain thing really became a problem. Things are way better now, but I am beginning to wonder if I'll need another egd procedure.

So, is pain how you know your pouch is full and cannot Handle another bite or is some other sensation?

Oh man I'm so with you about the pain.  I often get pain, if I over eat (usually if I don't measure, which tends to only be when eating out)  Like pain for hours.

At first I thought it was because I didn't chew and it's stuck, but I just don't know, as soon as I reach a certain limit, I hurt, sometimes even when I've not finished my measured portion (small pouch days)

I thought it was just me.

Congrats Nik, it's nice to know the tool is still doing what it should be doing!

In amendment to this post I should say I am PRETTY sure a piece was stuck. When that happens, I don't get pain but nausea and an IMMEDIATE aversion to food and food smells, which is what happened yesterday.

I just get queasy and food just starts looking plain gross.

I guess I should congratulate you ! I haven't had the surgery yet but I can't tell you how much I'm looking foreward to the day when 4 ounces of anything will be enough to fill me up and keep me there-lol.
