veterans....What was your re-bound weight gain?
Technically, close to 30 lbs. Here's how it shook out:
Me at lowest weight:
Me now:
So more boobs, a little thicker in the middle, but still not too shabby!
In terms of why I regained. Probably because I went from stalling because I wasn't eating enough to eating more PRECISELY at the time my body decided malabsorption needed to end! That's my theory anyway. But I still work out. Still take good care of myself. So I feel pretty good overall.

I've been fortunate so far. My lowest weight was 115. It was too thin. I now bounce between 117 and 122. Usually right at 120. I'm 3 years 4 months out.

I'm 2 years and going on 8 months myself, and I've gained 10 pounds from my lowest, and am back and forth losing and regaining 3-4 pounds "within" those 10 pounds now. I haven't gone over the 10 yet. I'm fine with that gain. I still feel good, my health is still great, and the 10 pounds doesn't affect my activities one little bit! I run/walk, hike, swim, kayak, etc. and love my life!! :D I think as long as we are keeping an eye on things, and if it gets up to a point we feel is our "danger" area, we go back to more protein, cut down on carb intake, up our exercise....we'll be ok!
I am almost 3 years out. My lowest was 103 (my high weight was 216; I am 5 feet tall). The past couple of months I have bounced between 106 - 109. So I don't know that I have "re-gain". 103 made me look bony, sharp and a little sickly. I feel best around 107ish, and my clothes fit perfect at that weight - more they feel tight, less they are loose.
Today I am weighing in at 109.5 because I am bloated, and when it's that time of the month, I just want to eat carbs and between that and water weight, I am at the high end of my range.
I don't know that there is any *rule* about re-gain, meaning that it's not a given that you will have re-gain; I am working my hardest to stay at the range I have established as a good weight. I have been maintaining in this range for almost two years now. So I guess you could say my re-gain is about 3 to 6 pounds, depending on my weight at the moment.
If I let myself think that it's ok to have a lot of re-gain or that it's a normal thing, I could become way too complacent about my eating habits and it's a struggle every day to make the right choices. Some days more than others, but I am very mindful so that 3 to 6 pounds doesn't turn into 10, 15 or more. I worked too hard to let that happen.
Keeping active has helped too - I walk my chubby Eskie dog almost every day for 1 to 1.5 miles (not much for me, but it's great for her). I also hike and do yoga when I can.

At my lowest (I think it lasted one day) i was 126 then I was back up to my "normal" 128 right now I generally sit between 132 and 135. I'm okay with the weight, I just need to get back to the exercise routine and tone up again.
