What are you eating/doing today? FRIIIIIIDAY!
I have no life. None. Whatsoever. The most exciting thing I'm doing today is going to the gym. As part of my Lent promise I want to start to live in better fellowship with other people so I'm trying to reach out more. In my day to day life I don't talk to people much outside of work and church (can you believe that???). I don't call people and they don't call me. Often my only adult interactions outside church are at the gym and I rarely have a conversation.
That needs to change. It's not that I don't HAVE anyone to call. It's just that I...don't.
Anyhoo...now that we're all depressed! Here's what I have planned for today:
Meatless Friday (note: Meatless Fridays for Lent don't NECESSARILY mean vegetarian Fridays...just no meat...and in my world fish doesn't count as meat)
1. Cheese stick (8g protein)
2. Click Frapp when I get to work (41.5g protein)
3. Not sure what's for lunch. I need to come home at lunchtime so maybe some Tilapia w/ some seasoned TVP or tuna? (If tilapia, 20g protein +12g from the TVP. If tuna, 20g)
4. Hot Vanilla Latte Click for my afternoon snack (12g protein)
5. I am FINALLY going to try cauliflower crust pizza (and because I am me of course I have ideas on how to mess with it). It will be cheese & roasted veggie pizza) (I'm guesstimating about 15g protein.
6. Greek yogurt w/ Splenda and sf apricot jam (23g protein)
At the lowest that is 119.5g protein. Not bad for only having a piece of fish as an animal based product.

I've never been to Disney and I'm so upset the train reason I've always wanted to go is closed-- the dumbo ride. But I am looking so forward to the expo and being off wor****il Tuesday and a girls weekend!!
I have a f/up appt with my pco next week on this fatigue. My hormone levels are way off and they've never been balanced since my hysterectomy. I just feel like crap and I hope I don't ruin the weekend bc of it
Eats so far: an egg sandwich

Sorry to hear you're going thru it too. I had my hyster the year before my wls at age 29. This is ridiculous. Im making it thru for now on a new med called Nuvigil.
And it's not just physical. I really feel like my work is suffering and my whole life. Thank God I don't have children to have to take care of n I wouldn't be any good right now.

The Alladin ride is almost exactly like the Dumbo ride, except that you can also tilt your flying carpet and there are camels spitting on you!
Have an amazing time! Get lots of Photopass pictures taken! (Go up to the first Photopass photographer you see and get your pic taken. S/he'll give you a card that you can give to the rest of the photographers. When you get home you can see all the pics they took, and decide if you want to pay a flat fee for rights to all of them, buy individual pics, or just enjoy them online for a couple of weeks before they disappear.)
My 18yo daughter is talking about doing the marathon or half marathon next year.

If you've never been to Disney before, Kitten, you HAVE to ride "It's a Small World." (It's a rite of passage) but only once. That ride is kinda schizophrenic.

Physical therapy this morning (for my neck; not RnY related), then a walk with my mom, then my regular therapist. Working on a paper about the psychological causes of the Rwandan Genocide.
I'll eat a cheese stick in the car on the way to PT. Probably yogurt with protein powder and blueberries for lunch. My son will be home for the weekend, so maybe we'll go out for dinner.

Little one is still running a fever so we'll be staying in today. Hopefully she'll let me squeeze in some yoga. Bass Pro tonight for a few things if she's feeling better.
So far today its been a cup of coffee
Breakfast should be a protein shake or hot protein
Lunch and snacks will be leftover salmon party and quinoa bites from last night.
Dinner will be something made with venison in the crockpot once I make it out to the freezer to see what we have left from hunting season.
Still working on liquids that don't hurt my pouch.....any and all suggestions are VERY welcome....even if I've tried them!
Have a wonderful Friday everyone!!
