What's for dinner? Thursday!
Today has been a steady day at work and productive overall. This morning I got a lot of crap into the back yard for my stepdad to haul away to the junk yard and made a Salvation Army run during lunch. Tonight will be cleaning like mad. Even though the realtor says I don’t need to do anything special to my house to sell it, I still want it presentable!
Eats so far today:
1. 1 c. unflavored 0% Greek yogurt with 2 tbsp sf apricot jam and some Fiber One twigs
2. Vanilla Latte Click
3. A Southwest salad from McD’s with half a packet of Newman’s Own Ranch dressing.
Dinner…good question. I am thinking of doing “healthier" cheesesteak subs for my divas (whole wheat hot dog buns, sautéed low-fat roast beef and cheese) with salad for dinner. If so I’ll do a cheesesteak egg scramble (I live for eggs!).
Tomorrow begins Meatless Fridays for Lent. The kids are dreading it and have relegated themselves to tuna sandwiches for dinner until Good Friday. Little do they know I have some yummy stuff coming their way!
RNY Gastric Bypass 1-8-08 350/327/200 (HW/SW/CW). I spend most of my time playing with my food over at Bariatric Foodie - check me out!

Today is hard, but I am doing so much better... and if I can keep my head on for the rest of the day and again tomorrow I think I can make it through this crisis.
Water bottle on the way to work.
Breakfast - 0% Fage, sliced strawberries, and splenda topped with Special K protein cereal and ground flax.
Decaf with splenda and ff non dairy creamer (I'm tapering myself off the creamer... I like it LIGHT and sweet!).
Another bottle of water.
Hot green tea.
Lunch - Hard boiled egg, deli select turkey, cucumber slices and roasted red pepper hummus and two grapes.
Another bottle of water.
Another hot green tea.
Half a bottle of water.
Lipton diet green tea with citrus.
Seven individual dry Cheerios - and then I told myself to stop and get a grip before I cycled out of control and started another binge like yesterday!
I don't know what dinner will be... something quick and easy. I have season tickets to the Dallas Summer Musicals and my first show is tonight! It's "Bring it On!". I can't wait!
So I should be good. There's no temptations at the venue that will cause me to cave.
Baby steps. Today is going well so far. And hopefully it will fuel me to do well again tomorrow.
