The Biggest Loser Thread

(WARNING: If you've not seen this week's episode, don't read this thread and get mad at me about spoilers!)

DRA-MA! OMG!

This is the season of no excuses but also the season of no niceties! Yikes. Those folks are kinda vicious toward one another.

Daphne. Sigh. She has a common thing that I see in single mothers and especially single BLACK mothers. What I call the "indignant" thing. Even if she did regret how she handled things, she'd never admit it to anyone's face. And she kept that poker face until the end.

So I'm here to say what Bob would not: WHAT YOU DID WAS STUPID!!! It didn't work well for your chances at the game and lying about it so long just made you look shady. Not cute. At all.

If I were her, the move I would have made would have been to switch herself and Conda. That way she'd be on the team with the big men and Conda would...not. But she wanted to keep Bob. Or else I would have taken all members of the black team EXCEPT Conda, since she could rearrange any way she wanted to. But I fail to understand how switching Conda and her brother did any real damage other than **** people off? It put another woman on her team, meaning they were more likely to lose challenges and left the strongest players on the black team.

And please someone explain to me how she could have deluded herself into thinking that it was not OBVIOUS that she did it. Please. Someone? Anyone? Bueller? If I'm eating thousands of extra calories, you better bet your sweet ass I'm making some BIG changes. What she did kinda just made her look like a punk. Sorry Daphne but it's true!

But what was even STUPIDER was the black teams response and proof (once again) that Conda is about the least intelligent person on that ranch. Ok...so you're going to throw the weigh-in. It seems like they informed the one lady (what's her name? Santa's wife) about what they were doing but they didn't seem to know how her losses would shake out for sure. If you're going to throw the weigh-in, make sure you KNOW for sure who will be the biggest loser. Put all your resources into making sure that ONE person loses as much weight as HUMANLY possible. As it stands, they sort of rolled the dice and hoped for the best. Not smart. And it didn't make any of them feel any better, nor should it have. What they did was as bad (and stupid...did I mention stupid?) as what Daphne did.

And the icing on the cake is they didn't even have to do it! She gained two pounds! (probably in peanut butter cups!)

OY. The negativity this season is beginning to bug me. I think the producers know it's a bit much which is why next week is "going home week" which I could swear usually comes a bit later in the season. But I think the show needed a positive infusion. Bad.

Anyway, that's my opinionated opinions. What did YOU think?

Each week I watch BL this season I can't for the life of me figure out why I do tune it!! I can't stand the drama this time, yeah I know it's tv but this is just too much!!

Daphne screwed up big time, I agree she should have switched everyone but Conda for sure, it was like you said the STUPIDIEST move!! OMG she really blew it, I kept hoping that she would have a huge loss this week and wouldn't have been voted out but really I think she needed to go and I hope she rocks it at home! 

Please, please, please let Conda be the next one to GO!!!! 

OMG...I think producers might be manipulating the game to keep her there for the drama factor but I can promise you if I have to hear her simpering one more week....grrrrr...

And I could not believe nobody called her on her bull in the elimination "I don't hold grudges, I'm a good example to my daughter..."

HA! You're that girl who spread rumors about people you didn't like and post nasty stuff on Facebook about them. Girl oughtta tattoo "hater" on her forehead. Now that Daphne's gone, who will Conda's Haterade go to???

I just wanna put my head in the tv screen and slap her!!! Yeah some role model she is!! UGH!! 

I can't stand the drama this season.

I am only tuning in to watch Mr. Hunk Dolvet.

I was not going to watch this season... but that one is really funny... And Daphne? she ate so many calories in mostly sugar... and last week she really pushed herself hard and probably took water pills to win over Conda... that is no wonder she showed gain...

Overall - it is a TV show... they need drama... no drama - people would get bored... I think now they are picking people who have attitude... and if you put them in groups... drama is guaranteed...

Well, that's true and after all it is just a tv show, and they really aren't in it to help people they are in it to make money!

I totally agree Conda needs to GO!!!

Oooh I can't wait to see the episode where they walk off due to the producers "twist"!

As for the current episode, I felt really bad for Daphne, she really let her anger get in front of her best interests. You see people do this all the time, and it's just sad.  She absolutely should have stacked the teams in her favor, and no one would have had a clue it was her.

Well hopefully, the drama will die down now and Conda will be gone soon- she is just McNasty!

TBL is SO ******g me off this season.  I have NEVER EVER seen so many ppl just quit and now they are all threatening to quit?!?  Don't they know how lucky they all are to be there??  I tried out for that show twice and was broken hearted when I didn't get on it but with ALL the drama I say thank God!  I would have given my right eye to have been there.  Nothing and I mean NOTHING would have made me just walk off.  Ungrateful people and CONDA?!?  Don't get me started!!!!!!!
