2 Months down.......
so I'm two months down and I've lost a little over 20 lbs since surgery. I'm so comfortable and happy that I had this surgery. I was a revision from the band and I was in pain on a daily basis because of it. I had nothing but problems with that stinkin band and I'm so glad it's gone.
Even though I'm loosing on the slow side I'm still feeling 100% better and happy that I made the decision to have the revision. I eat healthier... I look at food now and eat because I have to not because I want to. I look at sugar as evil now. I don't even try to eat it. It's not worth it. I also have not been able to exercise so I believe once I can I will feel even better. I start physical therapy for my knee next week.
I have to say for everyone who is afraid to take charge of their health by having this surgery ....DON'T!
No it is not a quick fix or the easy way out but it is a life change for us. We can not do it on our own. I should know... I've been trying to since I was 10 years old... I'm now 43. If it didn't work in all that time it never would have.
