So...I have been a complete sloth this weekend. Aside from the laundry...I have done nothing.

Ugh!

1. TVP oatmeal w/ 1 tbsp peanut butter (satisfying!)
2. Following my "no two sweets in a row" rule, I'll likely have some tuna
3. Not sure what the girls and I are actually DOING today...so not sure beyond that.

I'm working today.... so, my regular eating routine:

power crunch bar
brocoli with cheese

no plans yet for snacks or dinner.

I am starting my 10 day liquid diet for my surgery on March 1st so you can guess what I'll be...drinking...today!

L: homemade chicken and dumplings or a big salad from the grocery across from my office
D:refried beans  (mexican with the Girl Scouts tonight)

S: ppeanut butter protein cookie

I was up in Maine visiting friends this weekend so lastnight when I got home I had to make a grocery run since there was nothing in my fridge.

I got up a little earlier then planned today, thanks to my cat yakking his breakfast all over my couch :(

So far this morning I've had a Pinapple Chobani. Next up: COFFEE. Lunch will be a sandwich of buffalo chicken coldcuts and american cheese. Dinner will probably be fish of some kind.

 Good morning! 

Today, I have a pretty busy schedule. Work from 10-4, then kickboxing class, then a meeting from 6 until 8. Should be a good day.

Meals are as follows:

Coffee
B- Fresh melons
L- Leftovers from work (so probably chicken or some meat and veggies)
S- Nectar protein
D- Chicken and steamed veggies

Funny--oatmeal and tuna are two things I've been craving! Can't wait to get to purees.

Today, I had some weird cream of wheat nonsense. I made regular, plain CoW, then mixed in a scoop of vanilla protein powder. But that tasted totally gross. So I had to find something to cover that fake-vanilla flavor. I found a canister of sugar-free decaf mocha mix. What the heck, why not? So I mixed some of that in there... Bleh. Not fantastic, but I can choke it down better than the vanilla.

So breakfast was the CoW concoction and a bottle of grape sugarfree Propel.

Lunch is gonna be some strained golden mushroom soup, made with milk, w/ unflavored protein powder.

Dinner...? I dunno yet. Probably more soup. I'm really digging soups right now. So warm and creamy.

I'm going out today!! Taking the kids to Monkey Joe's, a local bouncey place. I'm meeting a friend there...one who doesn't know I had WLS. She's pretty judgey. Makes a lot of comments I don't care for about people who she doesn't agree with, so I haven't said anything to her. But I've got a bulge under my shirt, so I have to repin it and find a way to hide that. Or you know what? I might just tell her. Screw it. If she wants to be judgey, that's her business, not mine.

You are so much more mobile than I was at 5 days out. I took my first real walk about 10 days out and I lasted about 15 minutes and THAT warranted a two hour nap. LOL!

Yeah, if she's judgmental that's her business. You're good about your decision. And you seem to be doing really well.

President's Day -- a day of work in the world of higher education. Gonna get my exercise in at the gym after work.

B: Kashi Go Lean/Turkey Sausage/enough milk to make soggy
L: Taco Casserole/Kale Chips/Strawberries
S: colby-jack/turkey wrap
D: filet mignon and blue cheese salad, brown rice
S: greek yogurt/strawberries/peak protein granola

Regular work day for me, but I don't have to go in until late this afternoon (4pm). I plan to do some photos (aka torture my dog) and plant some snap beans in the garden. Who knows, if time allows I may even ride my horse a minute.

B - 5 boiled shrimp, 1 laughing cow light swiss cheese

I was going to make Nik's Crab and Asiago Egg Casserole for lunch, but that would mean getting dressed and going to the store... so I don't know what the rest of the day holds food wise.
