Invoking lost spirits...

I think I know something of what it feels like to be 90-some years old and miss your friends and role models from when you are young, but you don’t talk about it much cuz everyone else is too young to remember who those people were!

(That wasn’t overly dramatic at ALL)

When I came to this board there were some really awesome people who knocked some good sense into me in my early years. I hope by calling out their names, I might “invoke" them so to speak. Maybe they’ll drop by.

Other old-timers…er, veterans…add your names here of people you miss and wish would post sometimes.

Today I am invoking…

Shari (Jupiter6) – although in fairness she did post a week or two ago

Pam

Puggy Dawn

Lexipro – she was the one who made me want to work out a lot!!!

Terri G.

Tara – aka “Ms. Crunchy Granola" (she and I are friends on FB but still I think her perspective is needed here as more folks begin to focus on clean eating, etc.)

Um…there are more. I’ll add to my list. Folks, add yours!

 I really miss Pam.
And Rosa who is as much as a veteran as I am since we had surgery within 24 hrs of each other.  I miss her.

May God bless us in all of our endeavors.  May He forgive us for our frailties and our vanities and bless us to be prosperous in health, soul, and in life.

I am on IM with Pam all damn day and hardly get to speak to her even then. She's so busy!

I can say she got a promotion at work, co-founded a company and is being her normal dynamo self!

But yeah...sista could post every now and again.

Ah, names from the past!  I remember most of those posters from back when I was pre- and newly post-surgery.  There's a lot of wisdom there!

I remembered you too, Nik, so I was glad to see you were still around when I ventured back!

What happened to Lady Lithia?  Haven't seen her here in awhile, but she always had lots of wisdom to impart when I was just a li'l newbie.

All those folks helped me out. I liked the different styles and approaches. I think people think there is one way to do all this but I learned from reading posts from these and other people that there are many paths to the same goal.
